Sims 4 was patch on June 26 . Now my won't let me open of my households. It keep telling me I need to launch the game again.

Have you tried to repair your game yet? You do this through your Origin Launcher.

You can also delete the localthumbcache.package in your Sims 4 folder to your game.

There is also a third option of doing a factory reset of the game.
