(Console Problem) Techincal problems with babies and weddings

Heyo!
So, I have a few problems with a few of my Sims (as you may be able to guess).
Here's a timeline of events that led to this awful tragedy:

Earlier: Lucy got pregnant.
Morning: Kevin (Lucy's son) throws a party to marry his dearly beloved, Marie.
Afternoon: Lucy goes into labour!
Night: At Kevin's party, the option to marry Marie disappears! They cannot marry!
Late Night: I reset Lucy. Her baby has apparantly been born. She reappears, unplayable.
Next Morning: After sending Lucy back to hospital, with no results, I reset her again, still nothing.

I have nothing extra installed, just or anything like that. I have never had any game breaking glitches like this before, but I have read online that if the game goes past Week 10, things'll start to go wrong, so I'll mention that my game has just flipped over to Week 14, Day 1.

Is this the sims 3 or 4? If sims 3, you might try asking in the origin forum. There is no support for sims 3 console and people who post here play TS3 PC version. you will probably get more help on origin
