    The Sims 4 Native 4k

    Hi, I have an iMac
    • Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017
    • 3,4 GHz Intel Core i5
    • 8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
    • Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB
    • 1,03 TB Fusion Drive

    Until today, I run Sims 4 in native 4K resolution (4096x2304) but I read that may damage the iMac if the game running for a very long time. Is this true?

      Not to my knowledge. It's mainly for MacBooks. Does your iMac fan run that you can hear if you play for a long time?

      @Tremayne4260 the noise of fan is relatively normal.

      Then you should be ok to play as you have been. If anything out of the ordinary starts to happen (like the fan becomes excessively noisy), check back here. :)
