Sims 3 Machinimas: Mad World & I Just Love You

Ok. So I wouldn't have to bump two threads, I have created a new one! :D
These are both music videos. The sound is very important.

This is the first video I ever made with and sims game. I hope you like it:

This is my second video. It's a lot simpler than the first. Personally, I prefer the Mad World video, but it's all a matter of taste. :) I hope you like this one as well:

Side note: I spend a lot of time on my videos, so please don't say anything too mean. Constuctive criticism is always appreciated, but I'd rather you didn't tell me, "That was awful! I hate it!"

Thank you for watching my videos and please do comment on them.

Edit: Also, I'm working on a third video, but am a bit stalled. Any pics that have something to do with fire and sims would be amazing! :D

Wow - I'm truly impressed. I haven't tried making any movies and wouldn't even know where to begin. I LOVE the Mad World one. I've heard the song quite a bit recently and have found it really moving. It sounded familiar, but I couldn't quite place it. Looked it up after watching your video and saw that it's originally by Tears for Fears, one of my favorite 80's bands. (actually saw them in concert in Atlanta the early to mid 90's) Have to admit the Adam Lambert version blows it away though. And the images in your video are perfect for the song.

Really like your 2nd video although I'm not familiar with the song. Can't believe how you were able to make their mouth movement match the song lyrics in the first bit.

    Great job!

EDIT - Oh! What movie editor did you use for your video? I'm teaching a technology course to middle schoolers this year. We have Microsoft MovieMaker at school...I'm thinking a music video project like this would be great if they're able to bring in their own movie clips from the Sims or other games... Might be able to get what you used as well if it's not too expensive.

I've seen these before and they're great! I like the first one, more than the second though.

@Kitkat: I recommend you use iMovie, it's what I use and it's easier and better than Microsoft MovieMaker, IMO.

    - Mmyoko out.

    Awh.
    Thank ya'll so much.
    I can't believe the response I've gotten.
I love sharing music and being that Adam's still a relatively new artist, I love spreading the news.

I used Windows Movie Maker 2.6. It's free and I love it. :)
It's also quite easy to figure out.

Mad World still brings me to tears at times. ;)
And I matched the mouths at the beginning of I Just Love You? I must have done that unintentionally.
That's really cool you noticed that. xD

    Edit: Clarification

Mmoyko - had a student who used iMovie for some commercials for our robotics club the past few years. As I remember he had a Mac. Is there a Windows version? All our comps at school are PCs (unfortunately).

PeaceLoveLeah - Cool! Great to know the progam has that much versatility. And I feel the same way about Mad World. It still give me chills listening to the lyrics - especially Lambert's version.

Thanks for the info, and thanks for sharing your creations :) Might play them for my class as examples this year (if you don't mind).

    Oh wow. Not at all!
Whoa. My eyes are all watery. That's such an honor.

And I love Adam. I think he's gonna rock the industry. :D

The program's free too. ;) 'Tis a lovely program.

Edit: I used 'and' one too many times. :O

And I think the Gary Jules version is amazing as well. It's just a stunningly powerful song all around.
