Usually fancy and unique, but modest. Something between proper, eccentric and comfy, I guess I love maxi dresses for females and simple but elegant shirts and trousers for males. Younger sims often wear jeans, t-shirts and trainers, so their style is more sporty
I never thought about it. I'd say depends on the Sim, but I do tend to steer towards girly or elegant. I tend to favor modest styles, nothing too skimpy.
Victoria here is dressed more for comfort.
Nice collection of more. With the exception of the blonde woman by the stairs. The game changed her wardrobe a little when she aged to Adult and I can't remember if I gave her that coat myself. I did dress all the others. They're Victoria's family, gathered around for Christmas. The toddler is her daughter, the brown haired male fairy her husband, and the other two her in-laws. The woman by the stairs is her sister, the other two Sims her parents.
Ophelia was a comfort wearer.
And two more.
"Fool," said my muse to me. "Look in thy heart and write."

It depends on the character of the sim and the story. Like this sim, when at home in IP and when having an adventure in MH:
And this is how she dressed where she was raised, in Dragon Valley.
Style, as in, clothing.
