I am called Naito Shade and the Sim you see in my avatar is my "self" sim.
He was a brave, athletic flirt who made his living as a senior Lifeguard at the local beach, and was awarded a medal as a result of his life-saving work. Being a lifeguard though he was no stranger to frequent flings and romances, and other sims in hushed tones were constantly spreading rumors about him.
He lived in a modest home where he had fathered 2 children with 2 separate women who he met while working the beach. He had run-ins with some of the wealthier families such as the Altos and the Landgrabs due to his tendency to hit on Holly and Nancy when the were at the beach. He was also a seasoned diver, and had connections to the local science facility.
After his 30th birthday (to keep it simple) he happened upon an attractive vampire while on vacation to Starlight Shores. Her name was Jeanette and she ran a goth-themed club in the city. They hit it off quite well, so he purchased an apartment there, and got a job at the beach nearby so he could see her again. Around the time he turned 32 they were dating, and he asked her to move back to Sunset Valleywith him. It would be a few months before she was able to get her affairs with the club in order to do so.
Once they had returned to Sunset Valley, the flings and romances he had in the past had been faded from the minds of it's citizens. It seemed he was above reproach at this point. He sold his modest house and together they purchased a new one. There was a problem though. Since she was a vampire she could not have children, and this was a fact he had forgotten in his love-stricken state.
However, that was not going to stop them from having a family. He used his connections at the science facility, and using DNA from them both, they managed to engineer a baby. This benefited both the science facility and the couple because now the scientists knew it could be done, and the couple could have something they otherwise would not have been able to...a family. They managed to engineer 3 more babies over time, and they lived their dreams to the fullest.
Alas, time was not on his side like it was for Jeanette, and he eventually grew old and died. Their legacy, and the history they made were not forgotten, as their family over time reached it's 5th generation, and those now grown children are expecting children of their own. The town renamed the science facility after him and Jeanette as a thank you for putting the research into motion.
