    Maid Stealing Again

    I had to fire the maid and hire a butler. My drink tray came up missing, and everytime I leave the lot my pet bowls disappear.

      Hmmmm I wonder if that's related to having the maid, I'll have to testing this theory to see if it's connected. If it is I'm firing all of them because I'm so sick of having to buy new bowls.

      Yeah, the coffee pot just turned up missing, so I think the new butler is a klepto.

      In another family, same save, one of the butlers had issues with the lady of the house. Actually coming to blows. She quit in a huff, telling my Sim what an awful person she was. Mind you, I seldom interact with the butlers. This was all Sim driven.

      I was wondering where my pet bowls kept going! Reading this thread might have finally solved that mystery for me. I haven't noticed anything else disappearing though.

      Maybe they added a secret patch where gnomes go around stealing stuff when you're not looking. And now you blame the poor maids and butlers, shame on you!

      I think it would only be exciting if you can catch the help and punish them. I don't hire maids and butlers though since in my game, the butler only ever keeps cooking and never cleaning and the maids don't come early enough. I don't like my sims waking up to a mess and having to wait. I have a club that cleans my place.
