After 4 days of trying to get the blasted IF's to age up correctly even when the toddlers have been playing with the little buggers for 3 days strait and doing very little else I finally have 1...ONE out of 10 kids!! it's Rowan and he's not attached with Rosie his original kid anymore.
Rowan chatting with Mia, I had him in my bin from another save and threw him in the house I'm playing now. I'm on my third toddler Jasper and hoping his IF ages up with him and stays attached to him. In conclusion IF's are a huge headache for someone who changes houses frequently as they tend to vanish if you stop playing the household they are in or refuse to age up with the toddler .

So I decided they needed to adopt 6 kids, they will both be unemployed and have enough equipment to keep the kids happy but will have very little nudging from me. The first two were babies when adopted but since I age them right up the rest will be toddlers. They will be toddlers until they can, walk, talk and are potty trained.

It's not MY fault you carry around that dumb pregnancy book and read it at least 5 times in a week or so!! (Connor really does have a pregnancy book in his inventory in a fresh SV save and he reads it multiple times if he has nothing else to read).

I will be abandoning playing all the kids (they will still be in the house and all will still be Connor and Jared adopted kids) but am going to do a story with Jasper and his IF Edward it will only be in the Stories section starting probably tomorrow (need to do a little prep work first) Possibly titled 'Love Hurts'. Misunderstood is still top priority though and will be getting at least 2-3 new updates per week after I finish listing old updates here.

I had a whole scene where Meggie and VJ were still together (teens) and Molly kept watching them but it just didn't fit..it was like she was a creepy stalker, I had my share of those in the story.
I was messing around with Meggie, L and family today (again!), I had them all set up yesterday but set them up as married, they would not get hearts no matter what I did, I know hearts don't matter to some but if you're not attracted to your spouse what's the use..I NEED them for my couples..for this try I had Meggie as a teen, everyone else was YA.

Everyone pretty much hates each other or has been flirting with each other, Becky flirts with all the males she's not even flirty!...she's on the verge of getting deleted (I could care less if it corrupts the save!)

L seems to hate all his kids, or just not give a dang about them..
Lee hates all the kids too, or maybe the kids hate him and L due to all the flirting with their mom/grandmother..
Lee needs Eve back, poor guy never smiles anymore..
Going to tone down L's traits, he is flirty, Hopeless romantic, and irresistible, he will lose flirty and irresistible...Meggie will lose flirty, that should stop a good portion of the flirting going on.
I was playing around with VJ and Meggie today after giving up on Light and L...Meggie just kept jumping into the picture (I think I’m not ready to let go of her and L yet). Anyhoo, Meggie and VJ headed to school and I just had to laugh at this:

That’s a lotta doubles, triples, quads...etc...I counted 6 VJ’s and I know there are 7 Meggie’s in town. Since I cleared out my library and Bin things are running great. I also cut my saves down from 15 to 5. This whole town will go bye bye in a few days.
I seriously tried to make this work (Light and L are Always a couple in my saves) but I just kept pushing L and Meggie back together... (I guess I really do love them together...but I need someone for Light now.. )

Got a notification yesterday that Connor had had another alien baby, I switched houses to check out the newcomer...this baby was actually Luca. I saved while Connor was pregnant and placed that house in town by mistake. so here is baby Luca...again!

VJ on Monday then I'm done with SO...pretty much every character will be aged down or up to Teens. I am adding some SO characters into Misunderstood but only as extras. Except Meggie, Eve, and Walter they may have slightly larger parts. I can see Eve really mucking up Caroline and Jared's life.
One of these days I'm just going to sit in the park with high free will on and laugh my rear end off, and gasp in horror while taking screenshots...did it for an hour today and got some interesting stuff..I was controlling "young"(er) L most of the time. This was just for fun.
Just zooming around seeing who was still there, L was wandering over to Meggie and VJ waved at him, thought that was pretty cute.

What Secret Obsession looked like before L butted in...the original was all about Connor's (not at all secret) obsession with Meggie, and Meggie's very secret obsession with Connor...it was completely twisted but I loved it.

This is not a story update, it is a avoid doing a story update update.., actually it does have to do with the story, I needed maybe 6 screenshots tops of three of these characters but wound up playing them for 4 Hours (redid their house too though). If I wasn't so set on a deadline for Secret Obsession I would go off on a tangent with these three..

All I needed was a few pictures to establish them as friends, Malcolm and Miraj had been friends for awhile..
Joe is new in school and Malcolm became her friend first...
Miraj didn't know how to feel about this newcomer wedging herself in to his and Malcolm's little friendship..
Not only do I have a thing about triangles, but also about love from childhood so this of course got me completely engrossed and wasted a whole play session (plus as I shouldn't be playing for 4 hours!) I could have been working on my story.

A non story challenge was needed to let my brain rest...I wanted to play but not anything story related. So I made up Miles and threw him into an empty house, he has to furnish it with three (but no more) dumpster dives per day. He can also do collecting, but if he collects gems and metals he has to pay to have them cut/smelted and he can't sell seeds. He is a klepto so he can swipe his three things per night too. The thing that will make it semi difficult is he's in the new SV that I cleared out for story play, I only have 6 houses in the whole town.

It was nice to play this for a bit but I really missed working on a story, back to SO tomorrow.
Just a few random shots...I avoided actually doing anything story related yesterday, except for setting up a clean save back in SV for the rest of the story. Appaloosa was getting crowded and grumpy.
I wanted to do a birth to marriage "story" (very short) about one of my Sim kids growing up with, turning "real" , and eventually marrying their invisible friend....the game obviously hated that idea.
I used Justin and the SS since she was already living with him, they had a quickie wedding then had twin girls...I want to make sure I had two (or more) shots at the chance to make the IF real.
the first day after birth, no mail, second day just a gift from an admirer, third day no mail!! No stooped IF's ever delivered, no notice about great uncle whomever...arrgh! At least I FF-ed through 95% of the pregnancy (maybe that was the problem??) Becky and Justin were in the green on all needs throughout the pregnancy so no idea why no IFs.
Justin was a great dad too....oh well. Backed out w/o saving.
I like to think the dinosaur ate the family!
My two new guys, I tweaked the heck out of Jude as I was trying to make an adult version of Jude from The Fosters, failed miserably, I'm going to continue tweaking him. I do like how Kip turned out but all my male Sims are starting to look very similar! I have to change up how I create them.

So I decided they needed to adopt 6 kids, they will both be unemployed and have enough equipment to keep the kids happy but will have very little nudging from me. The first two were babies when adopted but since I age them right up the rest will be toddlers. They will be toddlers until they can, walk, talk and are potty trained.

What Secret Obsession looked like before L butted in...the original was all about Connor's (not at all secret) obsession with Meggie, and Meggie's very secret obsession with Connor...it was completely twisted but I loved it.

This is not a story update, it is a avoid doing a story update update.., actually it does have to do with the story, I needed maybe 6 screenshots tops of three of these characters but wound up playing them for 4 Hours (redid their house too though). If I wasn't so set on a deadline for Secret Obsession I would go off on a tangent with these three..
Joe, Malcolm and Miraj..
All I needed was a few pictures to establish them as friends, Malcolm and Miraj had been friends for awhile..
Joe is new in school and Malcolm became her friend first...
Miraj didn't know how to feel about this newcomer wedging herself in to his and Malcolm's little friendship..
Not only do I have a thing about triangles, but also about love from childhood so this of course got me completely engrossed and wasted a whole play session (plus as I shouldn't be playing for 4 hours!) I could have been working on my story.

Just a few random shots...I avoided actually doing anything story related yesterday, except for setting up a clean save back in SV for the rest of the story. Appaloosa was getting crowded and grumpy.
I wanted to do a birth to marriage "story" (very short) about one of my Sim kids growing up with, turning "real" , and eventually marrying their invisible friend....the game obviously hated that idea.
I used Justin and the SS since she was already living with him, they had a quickie wedding then had twin girls...I want to make sure I had two (or more) shots at the chance to make the IF real.
the first day after birth, no mail, second day just a gift from an admirer, third day no mail!! No stooped IF's ever delivered, no notice about great uncle whomever...arrgh! At least I FF-ed through 95% of the pregnancy (maybe that was the problem??) Becky and Justin were in the green on all needs throughout the pregnancy so no idea why no IFs.
Justin was a great dad too....oh well. Backed out w/o saving.
I like to think the dinosaur ate the family!
My two new guys, I tweaked the heck out of Jude as I was trying to make an adult version of Jude from The Fosters, failed miserably, I'm going to continue tweaking him. I do like how Kip turned out but all my male Sims are starting to look very similar! I have to change up how I create them.
