The biggest wish of the community, since we got Pets + Toddlers now, is Seasons and Weather.
Imagine we get Seasons in the next EP.
What else do you still want in the game after you got Seasons?
I'd like to have Burglars and a Fame/ Celebrity system and of course Vacations

Otherwise I would also love another vacation GP (this time to the beach, with ocean swimming and maybe boats), university and of course this would be awesome:
And yeah, the return of Burglars, Firemen, smaller animals or farm animals, and a non-intrusive and totally optional Fame system.
If they could somehow work garages and cars in there, that'd be great.
I'd love a Reimagined/Restored Ancient Greece/Roman empire 2017 style world.
What I enjoyed most from world adventures, aside from traveling, was the tomb/temple raiding.
A few things I'd like my Sim to do (After he get's his magic back.) is Travel the world and collect mythical objects
-Pandora's Box
-Poseidon's Trident (maybe mermaids can be introduced in this pack)
-Aphrodite's Amulet
-Eye of Gorgon
-the Eye of Fates
Show Time kind of a deal.
sim can become a Celebrity (Writer, Actor, Singer, Producer)
it's all active Career.
I want two look at my sims the way I look at Beyoncé when she's on stage.
the way they interact with the fans, dance the choreography, and sing, at the same time.
My Mood:
Now GP wise is a whole other story.
*Rural living options like farming, canning, cows, chickens, farmers market, maybe horses. Maybe sneak in some of the off the grid stuff that didn't win the community vote.
*Modelling and fashion designer careers with the ability to sew clothing.
*More crafting and hobby options such as knitting, jewelry making, sculpting, etc
*sports and competition activities like running, hockey, soccer, swimming relays, skiing, etc. Having sports competitions would be something we haven't had much in depth gameplay on before
* Additional school gameplay including possibly active classrooms, school sports, after school activities, student council, more ways to influence grades, honours classes, scholarships and college applications, online school, home school, and of course university.
*Witches, and maybe FEAR emotion added in either with them or separately. Potion making and spells and enchanting
I don't know what else but I'd definitely be interested in the above
I'm not a huge family player, but I'd like to see babies fleshed out, tweenagers added, elders thrown a bone (maybe a stuff pack), all of this in the realm of making age growth feel more complete. Pretty much every life stage other than toddlers could use more fleshing out imo, but I think with Parenthood (and the fact that custom traits are a thing) child and teen are mostly ok. Main ones still lacking, to me, are baby and elder. YA and Adult are kinda bland nothing distinction, but since they can do basically everything in the game, it doesn't really bother me; they're never lacking for things to do in their lives.
And I'd like to see some superhero content and/or expanded active-play secret agent content (I love spy stuff), and fear emotion. Oh yeah and acting, theatre, film, or orchestra (which I'm not holding out hope for, as they'd probably be super involved to design and not many in target audience probably care for it, but I can dream!)

Winter vacation pack ( sledding, skiing, snowboarding, hot-springs mountains sides and glaciers to explore)
Beach/tropical vacation (scuba diving, boating, jet skiing, sandcastles/games, relaxing on the beach, jungle and underwater locations to explore)

Park stuff (things to build playgrounds and spray parks)
Small pets
Building stuff (stairs, windows, doors, trims just general things for building the bones and architecture of a home)

University (homeschooling and private school introduced for younger ages as well as of course post secondary options for YA+, teacher career)
Fame/celebrity (fashion career, acting career, bands, watching live concerts/plays/theater living the life of the rich and famous)
Maybe Eps to lessen the Gp load

Off time (Combine hobbies and celebration/milestone pack)
Vacation (winter and beach vacations along with maybe theme park)

Other things I'd like to see: Island Paradise themed pack with mermaids houseboats and diving, futuristic pack, Renaissance themed game pack, teen stuff pack, generations, university and school pack, celebrity pack etc.
Very close would be university. I feel that these two packs would benefit me most so fingers crossed!

I am one of the minority (I think) that sees no point in the pets pack and doesn't understand why it got priority over University or other stuff. I guess a lot of people wanted pets? I had the Sims 2 pack for that but it basically ruined gameplay because of all the strays peeing on lots or causing a nusiance :/
The only other thing I want is something someone else mentioned in another thread which is an elder game pack. I want nursing homes with residents who sneak out or elope with the widow next door or who turn elder and decide to start a new life as a globetrotter or something like that. I can't remember who first raised the idea but I absolutely agree that there is so very little for the elder life stage and there should be more in my opinion.
I'd like to have horses, so perhaps a farming GP.
Beyond that I've honestly no idea.
