@Charlottesmom gorgeous unicorn! Did you end up adopting it?
This is one corner… of one country, in one continent, on one planet that’s a corner of a galaxy that’s a corner of a universe that is forever growing and shrinking and creating and destroying and never remaining the same for a single millisecond. And there is so much, so much to see.
@Charlottesmom gorgeous unicorn! Did you end up adopting it?
@Saltysea21 , Hi! Nope I just let that one go free as I had already dealt with unicorns, I found/adopted a female from one game, threw her in a household with one of my sims, moved her to another town when I found a black male there and they started having babies...and more babies and more babies...!! Unicorns can teleport so trying to fence them is impossible and they eventually started breeding with wild horses, I had unicorns and unicorn/horse mixed breeds everywhere!
I built a MONSTER! This is the "Happy Meadows" Asylum which currently sits on a 64X64 lot! I used a ton of Custom Content (mainly the hospital items) to make this beast, but I'm happy with how it turned out. If you decide to try to build your own hospital (or asylum), the big ones you'll need are -
"Dental" room. In addition to dental hygiene, this room serves another (darker) purpose. If a patient bites one of the staff members (or other patients), they're brought here... to get ALL their teeth pulled! (Real cases of this have happened long ago. Most - if not all - of those asylums were shut down)
Dining room. "Lunch Lady Doris" MacKenzie's wonderful southern cooking has truly been a blessing in this "Heckhole"!
Kitchen. This is where Doris works her magic.
Examination room. Everyone needs a little check-up every now and then, right?
Evaluation office. Every few months your behavior (and sanity) is evaluated to see if you are safe to send back out into the community. For many here, they'll either be denied or end up being re-admitted again after being out for awhile!
Fire hose. Safety is a number one priority, so you'll see these on every floor (roughly) 300 feet apart. Hopefully we'll never need to use them!
The laboratory. This lab is NO LONGER used... Thank goodness! Terrible things happened in this lab! Unspeakable things that are so unspeakable, that we won't talk about it. Now, onward with the tour.
In the next to the last room lives my Sim!
This hallway is on the 3rd Floor. There's a patient's room behind those doors.
Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U.) Room. If someone gets seriously hurt, they are brought here and watched over. Doctors will evaluate the next steps to take from there.
Surgery and prep area.
Surgery room. Let's face it - that ruptured spleen won't fix itself and some broken bones need to be fixed with screws and metal plates! And once you're done in surgery, you go to -
Recovery rooms. Ok, it's not a private room, but don't worry. Your asylum room will still be there once you've healed up enough!
Until then, rest up and enjoy listening to your room mate talk about things that you've never seen before.
Physical therapy. You're looking better, after some "recovery time", but now you need to get you strength back! Time for some therapy!
Showers. After working up a sweat at your therapy, it's time to go shower!
Once you done, the dirty clothes are collected by the staff and taken to -
Laundry room. Budget cuts meant that Happy Meadows could only afford the lowest of the low grade washer and dryer sets!
It's better than nothing, I guess...
Stretcher. Generally used to get a patient into Surgery
Wheelchair. If you can't walk, roll!
Next post will be with my asylum staff plus my committed Sims!

@Saltysea21 Thank you! Alot has happened since but I'm not happy with the quality of my recent screenshots since I had to reduce my graphics cause the household was getting too laggy on my laptop and I won't see my desktop for another two weeks.

Baby "cots" for any newborns that are born here.
Some MAY get lucky and get adopted, but for most children born here, they'll end up staying until they die of old age!
Lovely view of Sunset Valley!
Chess, anyone?
