Neighborhood/Suburban GAMEPACK

Just some neighborhood based features that would be cool if added in some form of expansion...

Live the Suburban Dream-
Move your sims into a new suburban neighborhood with rows of houses behind picket fences, playgrounds and community gardens, and friendly (or mostly friendly) neighbors! Jog or take a walk around the neighborhood solo or side-by-side with another sim, find neighbors in need of assistance (around the house or out in the neighborhood) to unlock unique objects, or run havok on the streets with eggs and toilet paper! Be a part of a divided community or band together to tackle big problems!

Attend Block Parties-
Sim lives in the suburbs (or have a friend that does)? They'll likely get invited to a neighborhood block party on the street in the suburban neighborhoods! Tend or patron kissing booths, enter a variety of food and craft contests, purchase a snowcone treat from the cart's vendor, and have a blast bouncing in the bounce house! Get boosts to relationships with neighbors, and build Households' relationships with each other (relationship bar for families/households to become rivals or friendly with other households)

Maintain a Home-
Use your sim's handiness and (new/returning) cleaning skills, alongside new utility and tool cabinets, to make improvements and perform maintenance on your sims' homes (to prompt interactions like sweep, rake, vacume, clean windows, customize doorbell, upgrade plumbing and electricity to save on bills, etc.)
Work becomes too much? Hire or ask a neighbor for help! Pay for newspaper and milk deliveries (delivered by Paperkid and Milkman NPCs) install a security system to catch Buglars, and buy a variety of items and collectables from door to door Salesman (or learn to give a sales pitch to your sim's neighbors in case you need to sell off some junk of your own)!

New Objects/Features-
Chalk- Toy for todlers, children, and teens to use to draw on the ground (build art skill?).
Dodgeball Court- Lines drawn in chalk for sims to play dodgeball in (effected by athletic skill).
Snow Cone Cart- Tend, or make individual snowcones.
Bouncy House- Four sims can bounce at a time.
Craft Box- Placed on tables/desk to make a variety or arts and crafts.
Cleaning Closet/Cabinet- More interactions to clean house.
Tool Closet/Cabinet- More home maintenance interactions.
Contest Tables- Choose from different contests for sims to compete in, from bake offs to mixology challenges to sculpting challenges.
Kissing Booths- Teens and older.
Useless Junk Collection- New collection, find items in trash, by helping neighbors, or purchase from a Salesman.
Recycle + Compost Bins- Get fertilizer and recycled money in return.
Treeforts/ Playhouses- For children and teen sims only, can be upgraded and build with handiness skill, built by multiple sims like the rocket.
Picnic Basket- Can have multiple meals packed in and served/placed in the world for sims to gather around and eat.

Other-
Neighborhood Emergencies- Not just in suburban neighborhood, there can be fires, viruses, and power outages, and more that whole groups of sims are forced to fix. (Multiple sims will go to put out a large fire, neighbors will bring over coffee/hot chocolate in power outages, maybe mischief boosting "invading"/spawning gnomes that have to be collected around the area, etc.)
Unique Households- Choose family/household traits, and track relationships between whole households/families.
New Party Type- Backyard Barbeque, sims will bring food, cook, and do outdoor activities!

I'd love these ideas and think they could easily make an entire expansion pack, maybe one that combines this with hobbies?

    Other Possible Features-

Neighborhood Reputations- A unique trait and a reputation meter (influenced by your sims's actions) for each neighborhood. Neighborhoods/areas with low reputations can have more crime, and cost less to live in, whereas a neighborhood with a high reputation will see more tourists, and cost more to live in. (Or have boosts to certain skills, grant certain moodlets, effect general sim behavior and clothing choices, etc.) It's up to your sims to decide the fate of their turf!

Retro Inspired Furnishings/CAS- A variety of everyday clothes, with classic looks and modern takes. Comfy/plush chairs and sofa with plastic covering swatches. Hoodies and jackets to wear around town.

Front Porch Deco- Choose from more welcome mats, front doors, potted plants, porch swings, etc. to customize your sim's front porch.

Foot races- Children through Adults can race each other for fun, to raise the fitness skill, and even place wagers or win prizes at block parties.

Metal Detector Object- Place it in a sims inventory and they can search the neighborhood for collectables.

The Neighborhood Reputations are a great idea! That's a way how we could customize our neighborhoods without CreateAWorld. They could work like lot traits.

Maybe they could add (in a Patch) an Edit Neighborhood mode with the ability to add/place objects in your neighborhood. (Let's say you want to place an easel somewhere in the world like the blanc spaces in Newcrest.)
If the engine is too limited for this they could just add certain spots in the world where we would be allowed to place objects like in Buy mode

An option for editing neighborhood areas would also be amazing, but I understand why editing terrain, moving/deleting certain objects, etc. would be difficult to implement.

There could be a mode (even if it requires a loading screen to load just the neighborhood, not any lots) to place objects, accessible through manage worlds, that would allow you to place a (limited) selection of objects like you would in Buy Mode. And only some pre-existing objects could be moved or deleted.

It's a shame there's so much unused space in some areas! Using cheats it's already possible to place some objects out in the world, but it's complicated and buggy, this would be much easier!

These are some really cool ideas that I agree would add a lot to the gameplay; however, in order to get the most out of some of them I feel that the sizes of individual neighborhoods need to be a lot larger. Basically it circles back to my belief that one of the game's major flaws is that its worlds are too small.

Still, very cool ideas. To spin off of the concept of being able to edit neighborhoods, perhaps there could also be a sort of 'homeowners association' that allows Sims in a neighborhood to vote on certain objects or styles can or can't be used on personal lots (ex. No Pink Flamingos or Lawn Gnomes). Granted, a Sim can go against these decisions but they might face a good deal of trouble from their neighbors.

    That's what I meant. :)
But deleting objects from a world wouldn't be possible, only adding objects or deleting these objects that you added.

    I love this!!
    Maybe incorporate more grandparent interactions?

    Add:
    Plastic covered chairs and couches
    Subdivision style houses
Suburban mom clothing and hair (think bobs, sweater sets... etc)

This idea is so cool! It would be funny if you could sabotage your neighbors reputation... something to do with the mischief skill? Similar to the celebrity stuff in Sims 3. Would be good to be able to turn reputations off though, or have it only enabled for some Sims because it could get annoying after a while...
