Introducing the Characters (for those who don't know JAG)



Phil Burrows - based off a RL friend of mine...
Former Sims Navy, Lieutenant Phil Burrows (retired): A former SimsNavy Naval Aviator flying the F-14 Tomcat...who has decided to find himself again after a traumatic blue-water accident that left him not all together there from PTSD.
Traits: Brave, Insane, Bookworm, Childish, Kleptomaniac

Tosh Nakamura
Commander Tosh "Animal" Nakamura, (retired): formerly a SimsNavy Naval Aviator and fighter squadron commander with the SimsNavy flying the F-14 Tomcat but now finds himself a happy angler and artist on the outside. Art and fishing bring him to his happy place.
Traits: Brave, Loves the Outdoors, Artistic, Virtuoso, Angler

Liandra Gracen - a longtime JAG fanfiction character my RL wife created - and my representation of Lia...in the Sims game.
Liandra Gracen: Liandra has always been interested in the medical field so she decided to become a medical professional.
Traits: Hopeless Romantic, Bookworm, Family Oriented, Computer Whiz, Artistic

Lieutenant Commander Harmon Rabb Jr. (retired) (David James Elliott): Following in his father's footsteps as a Naval Aviator, Lieutenant Commander Harmon Rabb Jr suffered a crash while landing his Tomcat on a storm-tossed carrier at sea. Diagnosed with night-blindness, Harm was given the choice between staying in a desk-job and finding his own way outside the Navy. Harm made his choice and went into law enforcement.

Traits: Brave, Loves the Outdoors, Good, Angler, Vegetarian.



Major Sarah "Mac" Mackenzie (Catherine Bell) Sims (Marine Corps retired) : Formerly with JAG in the SimsMarines, but now on the outside, she's decided to reinvent herself as a medical professional. Because of her abusive background, she has commitment issues.

Traits: Brave, Neurotic, Commitment Issues, Athletic, Ambitious



Meg Austin - Season 1 main character

Lieutenant Meg Austin (retired) (Tracey Needham): formerly with the SimsNavy JAG Corps now finding her niche in law enforcement on the outside.

LCDR Jack Keeter - JAG Episodes "Smoked" Season 1 and "The Black Jet" Season 4 (played by Michael McGrady in the TV show)

Lieutenant Commander Jack "Keeter" Keeter: A former SimsNavy F-14 naval aviator, has decided to stay in the military, but he has a propensity to crash aircraft or plum let them fall into enemy territory so his superiors have decided to make him start back over again.

Traits: Brave, Athletic, Party Animal, Flirty, Loves the Outdoors



Legalman 2 Jen Coates (Zoe McLellan) (retired): formerly a thief in trade, who made good on the inside of the Sims Navy, she's now back to her shifty ways on the outside, however she has decided to go into law-enforcement to stay on the right side of the law.Still sometimes the sticky fingers tends to over-ride her self-restraint.Well...someone has to make quick money to support the household.

Traits: Brave, Family Oriented, Hopeless Romantic, Kleptomaniac, Athleti

Author's Note: First two games crashed... and this is the second reboot... Hopefully it'll go well. Yes, I am a big JAG fan (not that big into NCIS...) I also met my RL wife through the JAG fandom and we have now been married almost 17 years.

Chapter 1. Week One - The Massive Pillow Fight. "REBOOT 2"

Well...the JAG crew moved in to their NEW home... a cramped little two bedroom on Water Lily Lane. It seemed like the place wouldn't be big enough to sneeze in so a few renovations were needed...like a second bathroom.



But they were all happy just to have a roof over their head.







The first thing that happened when they got in was a massive brawl with pillows. Everybody was reduced to infantile behavior...when that pillowfight erupted. Tosh smacked Harm with a pillow...and Lia clobbered Phil. And of course Harm got beaned in the head with a pillow by Mac when he unfortunately went into the common area.





Meg, Tosh and Jen had a three-way conversation and they chatted a bit until Jack Keeter clobbered Jen with a pillow and that started yet another pillow fight between the two of them.





Of course...Tosh being the main culprit having started the pillow fight with Harm starting the cascade of pillow-fights in the house made his escape to Central Park deciding to go fishing.







On Monday, most everyone with the exception of Lia, Tosh and Phil went out and got jobs; Lia wanted to try her hand at self-employment (The Creator doesn't have Ambitions yet so officially they are UNEMPLOYED...the lazy 🐸🐸🐸🐸). And Phil got some practice in learning how to dumpster dive by starting out small.





However true to Shipper and TV, Mac cemented her claim on Harm by increasing their "relationship" status bar. "Don't walk over to Meg, Harm..." and Harm agreed. (whether it stays that way remains to be seen)




Meanwhile, Tosh is having a tough time, because both Lia and Meg like him and keep striking up a conversation with him; Meg at the dinner table and Lia when Meg goes off to work. Is it going to be a "love triangle"? Who knows. (note the Creator does not wish to manipulate relationships... These two are going after him on their own...)



Meanwhile, Jack was being a creeper...having followed Meg into the washroom and standing outside her washroom stall waiting for her to come out. The Almighty Creator punished him by making him plunge out the toilet when it inevitably plugged. Take that...

Deep Creator Voice: "THOU SHALT CLEAN OUT THE HEAD... YOU MISERABLE LECH!"

As of the end of week 2, there were modifications done to the little ol' house.And the JAGInsanity crew started pairing off.Tosh instantly gravitated to the beautiful Meg Austin and they were the first two to pair...enjoying heated private moments in their bedroom and in the shower - thank goodness they don't have a hot-tub or the two of them wouldn't get out.


Phil being the ever-puckish prankster decided that he was going to scare Lia while she was painting.Tosh put an end to that by nearly scaring the pants off Phil.


Meg and Lia improved their friendship and social by rearranging each other's braincells with pillows.Needless to say both were smiling like fools at the end of that pillow-fight.



Tosh had a wish to learn a new recipe so he headed off to Divisadero Books to get himself a few new recipes.And because the household was completely nutshe sat on a bench out front of the bookstore to read.


Working hard has its merits as everyone who had joined the police force had become patrol officers.And the two (Phil and Sarah (henceforth referred to as "Mac" just as she was in the show) who had joined the military were both promoted to Squad Leader.


However the first tensions began to crop up as Keeter (he was referred to as Keeter in the show...so I'm going to continue with that) who had proposed going steady with Jen began making eyes at Liandra.That prompted a big negative mood from Jen.


...who promptly started throwing justified accusations at Keeter.The Creator promptly bought them a couch, which Keeter slept on that night.


Being in the military involved early mornings for Phil and Mac.Phil preferred to eat non-healthy food in the mornings...like Apple Cobbler;


...as did Keeter who woke up later and Tosh (gainfully unemployed as a painter) who just ate waffles.



Mac preferred to read a book in the morning then switched over to playing computer games to boost her fun-meter which was pegged when she got home from work.


...and then of course was her favorite time of watching TV and cuddling on the sofa with Harm (she just didn't look right so I pulled my Season 4 JAG DVDs and redid Sarah "Mac" Mackenzie until she looked passably like the Catherine Bell from S4 JAG).


Phil's Mental Cogitating Thought:"Will those two get a plum room?" while Meg and Tosh lock lips in the common area.


Harm and Mac get romantic while Jen (breaking the fourth wall) complains to the Creator that she is sleepy.Phil learns to paint.Wonder how that's going to work out for him...


Thursday Morning Keeter is up to his old antics of flirting with Lia again so Jen viciously scares him.He should learn to curb his wandering eyes.But I doubt that's going to happen.Keeter, YOU MISERABLE LECH!!!First Meg, now Lia...and even worse...when you're hooked to Jen.


...but that evidently brightened Tosh's day as he headed back into the bedroom, that he and Meg shared, to go paint as he laughed at Keeter's predicament.Jen and Keeter's social are practically non-existent.Cheating isn't tolerated by Jen, no matter how innocent.It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.


Friday ended with Tosh playing guitar and Lia and a few others watching.


Mac and Phil got into a major pillow-fight Saturday morning.

(Insert overly-ostentatious 1960s era TV announcer voice) Will Mac and Harm get together? Will Jen and Keeter separate? Will Lia ever find happiness with someone truly faithful? Will Tosh and Meg ever stop making out publicly? Will Phil ever find his brain? These questions and more...may be answered next week... But who knows...

Sunday morning started out bright and early...as the JAGInsanity crew slept in their beds.Little did they know that destruction would be meted out on their little home that morning.Their Creator was in a creative mood today and would mess with their heads causing them to wonder as to the fickleness of life in general and in the philosophy of Existentialism as espoused in the ramblings of Kierkegaard "When the God-forsaken worldliness of earthly life shuts itself in complacency, the confined air develops poison, the moment gets stuck and stands still, the prospect is lost, a need is felt for a refreshing, enlivening breeze to cleanse the air and dispel the poisonous vapors lest we suffocate in worldliness.l"Was it that fickleness that prompted the Creator to turn their little Sim-Lives upside down and make them go through the guesswork of finding where their place in the world was again?Who could tell?

And yet those poor Sims, once again uprooted could take heart from yet another Existential philosopher Nietzsche who said quite simply. "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."





Sarah "Mac" Mackenzie enjoyed the mornings, it provided her with time to think, process and plan for the day ahead.But since today was Sunday, she had a whole day to plan out her itinerary for the day.And breakfast that morning began with an Autumn salad; something this carnivore who loved hamburgers rarely ever touched, claiming that salads were for rabbits.After she had finished eating and cleaned up her plate, she turned on the TV and did a workout and then went for a jog.

Mac enjoyed the early mornings to herself...as she was able to jog in peace and quiet, the morning air still had a summer's warmth to it heralding the heat of the day to come, but still had a chill bite to it from the night before.Breathing in deeply she began her jog to Central Park and beyond to Divisadero Books where she would turn around and jog back home to take a shower.


In the meantime, Tosh had woken up and was playing the guitar, his go-to action when he wasn't minded by the Creator and prodded to go do something productive.

Keeter being the third person up stalked to the refridgerator and got himself something to eat for breakfast.Considering the amount of Sims that could cook in the household none of them would fear going hungry.The fridge was stocked.

The quiet of the morning was interrupted by Phil making a mad dash for the bathroom.Goodness knows what was his problem other than the flagrant need to blow through the livingroom like a greased pig because of his bladder.









By this time, Tosh had stopped playing guitar and was thinking about getting himself something to eat, when the Creator struck...and told them all "GET THOU TO CENTRAL PARK OR BE CAUGHT UP IN THE DESTRUCTION OF YOUR PALTRY HOME!!!"Being obedient little Sims they amscrayed.

During the destruction of their home, the JAGInsanity sims decided to spend their time at Central Park taking in the lazy Sunday morning and early afternoon.Tosh decided to grill up some Veggie and Meat-eater's burgers on the Community Grill near the picnic tables. And considering the stress and tension between Jen and Keeter still on-going, a little break was what they needed.In fact, Jen was so disgusted with Keeter's actions in flirting that past week with Lia that she decided to leave Central Park and go home.

Meg and Tosh went off on their own to the movies.But of course, dinner will be at home due to the extravagant cost of the new home that was built.But there at least everyone will have their own space, with the exception of those who have paired off.


Monday, being a regular workday, didn't have a whole lot of action in it.Tosh just washed dishes and painted while everyone else went to their jobs.When those who worked got home they went about doing their own individual weekday rituals. Of course, Keeter smartened up and attempted to make amends to Jennifer who bought it, hook, line and sinker.But considering that Keeter has the flirty trait, who knows how long that will stay?












Tuesday through Friday was the same thing different day; and Keeter kept trying to be good to Jen and surprisingly got the Faithful moodlet which shocked the everliving plum out of the Creator.The other guy must be messing with me.But it will be a long and perhaps painful road for the two of them to reconcile.















Saturday was a stay-at-home and relax day where everyone did their own thing.Harm and Mac became boyfriend and girlfriend after an intimate moment where Harm asked Mac to go steady.Meg and Tosh headed out for a date and they ended up getting engaged when Tosh popped the question.Both Tosh and Meg have the faithful moodlet.

Thus ended the third week... Can Keeter continue to remain faithful to Jen.When will Tosh and Meg get married?Will Harm and Mac get to the point where Harm produces a rock for Mac's finger.Will Lia go out with Hank Goddard (a vampire).Will Phil EVER find his brain?Stay tuned NEXT WEEK for the next installment.

Chapter 4; Week Four - The Big Move

The fourth week started out pretty much like the third. Sunday was a relaxing day. And everyone did their own thing. Meg and Tosh spent the morning curled up in bed...thinking about each other.





Breakfast was a quick affair where everyone got whatever they wanted and they headed off to do whatever it was they were going to do that lazy Sunday morning.




Lia spent Sunday reading, Harm spent it on the computer, while Tosh and Meg decided to work out. In the evening Tosh painted and Meg added to her literary work. In the meantime Lia spent some time talking with Harm.\









The weekday mornings were frenetic as usual. Of course, Meg sought out Tosh after she came home after a stressful day at work. Problem was that the shower got broken as a result...and Tosh had to turn around and fix it again. The next afternoon Tosh spent time playing guitar for tips at Central Park.

The pool was a nice touch, however the house was getting a bit too cramped and Tosh decided to move to 15 Summerhill Court which featured a 60x60 lot and lots of room to expand.



The first few nights were spent in a sleeping bag with a rapidly built washroom facility to enable the Sims to relieve themselves and shower. They spent two nights under the stars while their house was being built, but the stresses were too much and Tosh got into a fight with Keeter; it was a draw.





But by Friday, the house was built and everybody was able to move in, happily. And Saturday showed a lazy day spent at home.




So...will Keeter and Jen break-up (they're not talking); Will Harm and Mac get engaged? Will Keeter and Tosh reconcile their differences without killing each other? When will Tosh and Meg get married? Will Lia ever find the One? Will Phil...emancipate his brain unilaterally due to absenteeism? Who knows...

Chapter 5: Week Five - Harm and Mac - A Rather Smelly Love Story

The week began with a relaxed Sunday around the JAGInsanity rooming house. It was the usual weekend fare of either being on the computer, eating or working out. Meanwhile Tosh was concocting plans of what sort of landscaping to do on the property which the Miraculous Hand of the Creator was responsible for.















Unfortunately Monday was soon in coming and the JAG gang were back in the thick of things at work. Unfortunately Tosh was slandered of "voiding his bladder in public" by some un-named paparazzi which was some gall, as Tosh hadn't been out of the house for the past two weeks because he had been too busy increasing his painting skill, so he went in and sued the living daylights off the paparazzo (sing.), in court. The court judge on the first two case hearings ruled in favor of the paparazzo; the third time Tosh demanded a new hearing with a new judge and the judge ruled in favor of Tosh, but as a three-star celebrity, Tosh needed his reputation untarnished

.


Tosh did, however when he got home, do some fishing thanks to the pond lovingly provided by the Most Generous and Miraculous Hand of the Creator. Harm joined him in trolling for finned scaly creatures that could only subsist on the derivation of O2 from H2O.



Tuesday involved Tosh being in front of the grill for nearly the entirety of the day as the fridge needed to be restocked from the ravenous appetites of the JAG crew. So the BBQ got a very hard workout grilling up vegetarian fish and chips, fish and chips, hamburger and veggie burgers. As well, to top it all off, Tosh made a Key Lime Pie. There always has to be someone who can cook for fear of the rest of the sims starving.




When Meg got home, she went to talk to Tosh...and as things went...it always resulted in a lot of wet fun in the shower and once again, the plum shower broke...






Tosh was the first one up the next morning and he grabbed a plate of fish and chips



Evidently Dorothy DeMayo, the paparazzo was at the front gate first thing Wednesday morning and Phil took exception to that. They came to an understanding the hard way (they got into a fight - pic is on the blog; will not post it on forum - Just so that we're clear... We aren't allowed to post "Sims fighting" pictures, are we? ). As Phil was not a celebrity, she would be unable to slander him in any way shape or form. Needless to say, the incident triggered Phil and for the next half hour he was talking to himself.





Thursday was uneventful and Friday brought out the generosity of the Most Almighty Most Generous and Miraculous Hand of the Creator gifting them with a §12,000 Serenity Hot tub with manna from the heavens. Needless to say, everyone enjoyed the hot-tub. Especially Keeter and Jen...and Tosh...and Meg.




Saturday had Meg and Tosh working out in the little fenced in exercise area between the garage and the main floor of the house. Despite the fact that Tosh and Meg both smelled, they got amorous, yet again. (Will those two lovebirds ever stop with the Public Displays of Affection?). Later in the afternoon, Harm and Mac headed off for the lovely private little meal at Hogan's Diner (to keep costs down). Harm and Mac then did a little dumpster diving...while not the most romantic place to propose...well...you get what you get.









Holy crow, I'm sure their smells would gag a maggot.

While Tosh and Meg headed off to Little Corsican Bistro where they were later interrupted by Keeter and gang who invaded their privacy. Keeter being his usual self ended up dancing with Meg and Tosh took great exception to it...scaring the living daylights out of Keeter. The Most Amused, Most Almighty, Most Generous and Miraculous Hand of the Creator is most pleased at the intercession of his minion. Thus endeth Week 5..




Will Keeter ever get back in Jen's good books if he keeps flubbing up like this? When will Harm and Mac get married? Will Tosh and Meg ever throw a lavish bachelorette party for Meg. Will Lia ever get out of her room on the weekends and find herself a potential hubby? Will Phil ever reconcile the fact that his brain sent him a postcard saying "Loving the sights here in Isla Paradiso; am planning on staying here." Find out next week...on Week 6.
