Appreciate the X music style - new?

I just noticed that my sims have the option to appreciate a certain music style. One of my sims can appreciate classical music and other one the blues. Do sims have music favourites now? I haven't noticed this before. The option shows up when you click "listen to..." on a radio that has the specific music style available.
