I'm about to write my tenth poem of the night...don't know why, but I seem to be in a poem writing mood today
(the ten of the night is not counting any of the poems written on the mafia thread earlier today)

    Today's Q Q is:
How much of a Millennial are you?
    u4dIQ1x.jpg

I'm a millennial and I got 4 points. I'm a grandpa. XD I've only tried Quinoa (don't like it unless it's in a tortilla wrap), matcha anything, overnight oats and boba.
I'm a millennial (I think? someone tried convincing me that I'm actually gen z but I do not believe it) and I only got 5 point :joy:

quinoa - not a huge fan of it, but it's used a lot in gluten free food so I deal with it.
matcha anything - the first thing I can think of that I've had is KitKats, but I think I've had tea too.
almond butter - my sister and grandmother love it, so we keep it around.
cauliflower rice - loooove me some cauliflower rice :3
boba - and I've had boba tea :3 love me some boba tea :3

I've been meaning to try kombucha, overnight oats, and oat milk tho, I just haven't yet.
I'm getting very excited at the possibility of a Star Wars Game Pack coming to the Sims 4 soon!

Oh, is that what the rumors are now?

    Yeah!

    @DeKay

your method of art is so nearly algorithmic (layer by layer making these cool recursive corrections as you go) that you're like an AI, only better because you combine it with human insight and talent. I love it when you share your "work in progress" videos!

haha about that Millenial test thing. I've had:

    avocado toast (til allergic)
    quinoa
    pumpkin spice latte (meh)
    kombucha
    matcha
    overnight oats
    oat milk
    bone broth
    almond butter
green juice (if wheatgrass shots count)
    cauliflower rice
    boba

and some of them, when Millenials were still in diapers. What does that prove? And if anyone calls me a boomer, I will quietly puke in my coldbrew. Or maybe go off on a bitter diatribe. mutter very forum-unfriendly things under my breath. ETA: Some of the finest people I have known happened to also be boomers, and pre-judging someone as merely a walking microcosm of their generation, gender, etc is wrong.

I'm Gen X and I got 3 points. Some of those I'd never heard of and some I would like to try. But yeah. I'm an ancient sort.

Glad you like my process videos! It's kinda funny and a bit "embarrassing" for me to look back at it cuz the initial portrait always looks so bad and out of proportion. 😂 I wish I was one of those artists who could get the proportions right straight away. I'm not that good but I'm hoping I will be that one day... 😭😭

    For example, this:

About the millennial thing. Yeah, some of the foods are old but I guess it's one of those things that millennial consume and try to make them cool or a trend?

    Today's Q Q is:

What is a food that you used to hate but started loving it?

I used to hate coleslaw when I was younger but now it's not so bad anymore! Maybe I've been eating too much veggies that I just get used to it. LOL.

    How has everyone's day been?

I'm good! It's gonna be a long weekend for me! :) How are you?

Hahah, sorry to disappoint you but usually, I just pick a photo based on the aesthetics/pose/contrast. 😂 I mean, maybe there might be a subconscious reason for it but I won't know that either. 🙊🙈

They would be good inspiration to build a backstory for, wouldn't they?

I am not really someone who builds back stories for my paintings cuz I usually just paint random people and they're not like my original characters that I make up. I think so far out of all the portraits I created, I only made like 4-5 of my own original ones. (Even so, they don't have backstories. They just look unique.)

But it's up to the viewer to interpret it themselves and build their own back story if they want to. 😂

My art is not that deep, guys, but I appreciate it. 😂🙏
