Sims 2 Teen homework problems

So, my teen child just went to college, and he didn't finish his homework.. Now it's stuck in my house, and i can't get rid of it..
I really need help, and I'm scared that if I use moveobjects and delete it my game might get corrupted, should I do it? Should i wait until my other child turns into a teen and does that homework for him to get rid of it?

Yes, you can delete it without your game getting corrupt.
You'll have to place it on a table or desk to delete it.
