Is this old bug/glitch rearing it's ugly head again? My male sim wore purple, open-toed high heels with his gardening career outfit! I'll try the mentioned cheat to adjust this, but is there any way to prevent it from happening in the first place? (And no, I've never had any mods or CC...)
ETA: And no, he doesn't have the goofball trait, either...
I wondered why my Eliza Pancakes has been wearing what I swear is a male shirt and tie to work as a (food) critic.
Never thought to change the outfit manually -silly me.
I've been having this problem for a while now and I wish the team would fix it. It's one thing when my female sims are wearing pant suits but having them wearing men's dress shoes to work with their skirt suits or while getting married is really taking me out of the moment. Hopefully the cheat works for me. Fingers crossed.
I'm believing you and I can do anything, we can change the world

for weddings you can set up extra "formal" outfits and have your sims change into those on their wedding. i do this to have more choices for wedding dresses than the standard one. afaik it doesn't mess with wedding goals or anything.
