Yes to both of your questions... I have placed the basketball hoop in a park and on 3 home lots so far. The downside of this is that the tuning for the BB Hoop needs to be turned WAY down! If your sim is on a community lot and they are hungry they will continue to play basketball for hours. If you direct them to grill some food, they will start to prepare the food and then just walk away before the food is cooked completely. The same goes for when you place a BB Hoop on a home lot. You will have to closely monitor the sim who is cooking and repeatedly cancel out the BB Hoop action so that they will finish cooking a meal(s). It has become very annoying and frustrating... I am almost ready to pull the BB Hoops from my home lots until this bug is patched.
