Oooh, can't wait to get City Living! I always loved living in an apartment, it feels so special!
But I do have a question about neighbors though. Can you move in several households in one building? Like filling up the apartments with your own sims? I'd like to move in my simself in an apartment and then move in a friend of mine next door.
@Icewolf Yes, you can have up to four families in the Culpepper building that my apartment above is in. There are a couple of buildings where you can have three families and a couple where you can have two as well spread across all four districts.
My sim is still working on the TLC apartment. She has an extra empty bedroom. Can we get roommates to help with the bills without me controlling them?
@Simasaurus09 The roommate system acts as it has since the start of the game. Roommates are essentially part of your household and all their funds/belongings belong to the common whole, although they are not related. You don't necessarily have to control them- most sims will care for themselves in a general fashion. Just pick them out a job and select a bed and they'll be fine BUT they are NOT NPCs.
@xmellx Wow!!! I live in 19 Culpepper too, and the differences are striking. LOL I love how you decorated, it's so homey and yet absolutely stunning and beautiful! Totally followed you on the Gallery.
So I got the expack as a gift (my dear husband thought I would enjoy it as I just had a back injection and I am mostly house bound. He came home with it, totally surprised me). Honestly, I haven't played it at all except to build lol. The apartments they have are god awful. So I have no idea about gameplay, but I will say I wish there were more items for building. Still so little flooring choices and wallpapers.
It now has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 2 bedrooms are basically master bedrooms.

The bar area I kept from her spire apartment build and I moved the room that she intended for upstairs, downstairs put the hookah in there instead. So those are the only areas I didn't photograph as they were made by silvan and I only changed them in minor ways.

Upstairs was entirely done by me, but inspired by the same style that silvan used. Let me say that the movie stuff pack is getting a lot more use by me since now we have some more objects to match.

Also your TLC is apartment is great, I wish I could have had it when I first started playing the EP living in those apartments. My sims would have loved me alot more.

Everyone has great apartments! , I have the pack but I really haven't done a whole lot with it yet. I moved one of my geek couples to an apartment and edited the interior slightly XD.
LOVER of all things cosplay, anime, cats, Shadowhunters, and Sims 4!
@DeKay XD yours are great! I'm questioning mine haha. I like doing interior changes and designs with the sims but sometimes all I really do is replace some furniture and change the colors XD.

It's so sad we can't add apartments to the Gallery It's really nice to see others apartments though and what they have done with the space - it's given me some ideas!

Anyways so here is my rebuild of the spire apartment. Please note that this isn't entirely my own as the entry floor is actually the rooms from: http://silvansims.wixsite.com/silvansims/single-post/2016/11/04/City-Living-Art-Spire, but the bottom and upper floors are mostly mine. I took a lot of inspiration from hers though.

It is a low budget build though since I want to move back the sims who live there- back in lol.
You can move in whenever!
Its the fountainview penthouse in the beautiful art district. Also I remodled the penthouse in pictures slightly mainly the bed room and the office
The old penthouse in the previous pictures is already on the gallery, if you (or anyone else) want the new office and bed room ill upload it.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

The lobby is the prettiest.
Horribly furnishing.
Boring dining room.
Broken shower.
This is the other bathroom. I like this one more cuz of the view and lighting.
