How do I make a porch?

I'm bad at building houses. I do sometimes used the in-game houses, instead of making my own, but I remember making my own houses cause it was funner. I say remember cause I haven't played in a while. Anyways, I never figured out how to build a porch. I think I tried but always failed. So can someone kindly tell me how to make a porch in Sims 4 please?

Sorry if I misplaced this discussion but I didn't know where else to put it. It is in the Sims 4 game, so I guessed that Sims 4 General Discussions was the best place. If I'm wrong, please, kindly correct me & I'll move my post.
