Unactive sims should learn your sims traits and career!!!

Since getting to know someone is the first thing you do when you meet, why not have the sim your trying to get to know learn stuff about your sim too. Like with the get to know and ask about career interactions, they can both learn traits or what career they're in.
It kind of feels weird when I have to sims move in together that are soulmates and one just doesn't know anything about the other.
What do you guys think?

Actually, they seem to learn some traits of your Sim if they're chatting (or alternatively insulting each other) long enough. But that only happens occasionally and also quite random, therefore your suggested way of getting to know each other would be much better and also more realistic.
