I feel like I don't have time to play one. And I'd have to get all the amplifier and the extra stuff. It's a pretty expensive hobby! I also live in an apartment so I can imagine my neighbors are not gonna have a good time. LOL!!

Your neighbors don't have to hear a thing, that's what headphones are for, you plug them into your amp You can even get headphone amps exclusively and save yourself any need for a bigger amp. Time is relative: if you spent but 15 minutes a day but were persistent about it, you could easily learn the basics and build on that. There are devices now that make it so easy to hook it into your pc and jam out to accompaniment, use Youtube videos, there are even games that help you learn and no one but you has to hear😁
But of course, it's a highly personal choice. It can be very expensive or only a few hundred , depending on how basic.
I feel guilty because I have had no will to play in so long but yet I won't sell my guitars. Depression can make a person lose interest even in what used to help them feel better.

I know that feeling of guilt too. I have a keyboard and it's been so long since I've taken it out of the box to play it. 😭
I have met a few celebrities and had letters back from some as well including Rowan Atkinson. Oh and speaking of Royals after the sad loss of the Queen I have met Princess Beatrice who is absolutely lovely in every way.
