I've always been a morning person but lately I've been staying up far too late so I'm not up until later.
but....the best time for me to write poetry and stories is like 2am! I don't know why but it works.
Gosh I couldn't pick just one! Two of them are lugubrious and "crackie" which is a Newfie term for a little "yap-yap" dog, used in a phrase such as "saucy as a crackie."

June and October. June's one of the prettiest months where I live, I think. Everything's in peak bloom and vibrancy and the sun rises so early! I love October because it's my birth month and the whole world bursts into colour here. It's a lovely time of year to go exploring in the woods and be around the trees. Also, the harvest in at this time of year and all the little farmers' markets are full of fresh produce like apples and pumpkins

Well I love all trees but near my university's campus, there's a trail in the woods that leads to a grove of non-native trees that were planted there. The forest used to be a pasture for the university a long time ago. People planted some sort of Norwegian spruce or pine there. They're really big and towering and they're the only trees that grow in that one spot surrounded by native trees. I like visiting them. Sometimes I try to sing to the trees when I'm alone. There's this inner calmness that comes onto me when I visit those trees. It might be because they're different from any of the other trees in the area and they're like fish out of water and sometimes I feel like that too.
Also, there's a really nice apple tree on campus that I like to go visit sometimes. I just like trees!
