GET READY time for dates, hang-outs, etc..

I really enjoy the social aspect of the game where other sims can call up and invite your sims to dates, hang-outs, parties, etc. One problem I tend to always have is that these events are instant and there isn't any time for my sim to "get ready" if he or she is low on hygiene, food, or has to pee.
What about when you accept an invite to someplace, give a one hour prep window (like with getting ready for work or school) so that you can get your sim to take care of anything he or she needs. I've had dates go sour because they were invited while working out vigorously. He didn't have time to shower so when he arrived, he stunk awful.
You could make it an option like A) I'll be right over,
give me an hour to get ready and C) no thanks. I think it would make the dates and invites much more enjoyable.
