A New Sibling (Picture Heavy Short Story)

So imagine you go on a trip and the shared save file you have gets an adjustment in the options. You come back and everyone outside of your played households has gotten a bit older. Normally, I'd be wondering why anyone would do something like that, but it gave me an idea. That idea was actually the reason the option was changed in the first place and where our story truly begins.


So, a long time ago...
(About two weeks ago.)
...there lived a happy family...
(Not really; the grandmother we never saw was dead already.)
...of two loving sisters.
(Were they?)

Candy loved to party hard with true socialites like Bella Goth and Erin Nolan...
(Woot woot! That's me!)



...while Yuki loved to game and hack like Princess Keira or Eryk Nolan.
(Woot woot! That's you!)



It seemed like their sisterhood would last no matter what...
(Then this would be a non-story.)
...until one day, Candy fell in with the wrong man.
(Curse you, MC Command Center!)
While everything seemed fine on the surface...
(Doesn't it, always?)



...Yuki wasn't seeing any of the post-marriage happiness.
(So much for blood is thicker than water.)
She would be yelled at for the smallest things and taken advantage of by both sister and brother-in-law...
(SERIOUSLY! CANDY FELL FOR THAT FREAK?!




...but would only complain when alone with the Nolans.
(And she wasn't happy a lot!)



The two would discuss this, night and day...
(It was sometimes all I could think about!)


...and always be there for for Yuki when she came their way.
(Hey, you rhymed!)


Eventually, Yuki grew up, stressed and famished...
(She didn't exactly look her healthiest.)
...but when the twins arrived, her pain up and vanished.
(Now you're showing off.)
On her birthday, Erin unleashed her plan...
(It was a good one, if I do say so myself!)
...to invite Yuki into the family and save her from Candy and her man.
(This is starting to sound like a poetry slam.)


Her potential big brother wanted Yuki to be sure...
(I think you were more stressed about the room; you did put it together.)


...but Yuki felt finally at home, with her siblings' love honestly pure.
(Ok, that one got me .)



Her new brother had to leave for an important meeting...
(Any meeting with Mercy is important, right? )
...so Yuki privately asked her new sister for a favor.
(Why break the chain now?!)


Her sister obliged and committed to Yuki...
(Why wouldn't I?)


...to make her look like she belonged in the family.
(New life, new look; am I right?)


After hours of new combos and themes...
(I wouldn't argue with that figure. )
...Erin made Yuki's look seen only in her dreams.
(Rhyme and look = both perfect!)



When her brother came home, the sisters Nolan prepared...
(I think we were done by then.)
...to take a new family photo that each of them would bare.
(CC possibly in the works!)

"Come on, sis; work your magic!" cried Erin to Yuki.
(Trying to be encouraging here)
"But Erin, I don't take photos like you do!" sighed a shy Yuki.
(Hard to rhyme Yuki, right?)


"Then both of you just be yourself!" shouted Eryk from the side.
(More like screamed with your headphones on.)
"Then let's just smile like no other opinion matters." said Erin, quick to decide.
(Nice.)
"This one's timed!" quirked Eryk quickly.
(No swearing this time? I'm proud of you.)
"Ok, 'We came for the sodas!" Erin yelled through a smile meekly.
(To which Yuki thought to herself: "I'm going to love this family." )
