It's supposed to be 95 degrees tomorrow where I live. Allegedly, it's Fall.
"That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero." - Stan Lee
Hot and very humid, thank god for air-conditioners!

@xiPopTartzx it's pretty normal here. Almost every year, some part of the country gets flood damage.
In june, a large portion of Tasmania was flooded.
In 2011, Queensland was flooded
Including Brisbane
The main cause of the problem is that the best farm land is on flood plains, and so people usually settle on the good farm land, and as a result, you have cities built on flood plains or river valleys. Though, the more recent flooding has been in hill country, and the road damage is because the soil under the roads is clay.
The weather today? Seems to be starting out sunny, but more rain is expected.
Weather update for Southern Australia:
It's a non tropical cyclone!
I am slighly scared.
It's being caused by a super low, which means it's also getting colder.
There's a lot of flood warnings, and some places might even get snow.
Winter is coming instead of summer? I could probably live with that.
It's bucketing down, and there's been a lot of thunder.
Well, for part of last night, the enitre state was without electricity.
There's been a couple of tornados. One town lost a lot of roofs.
There's been hail the size of golf balls in some places.
A lot of rivers are either over their banks, or close to it.
There's a big scary looking thing off the coast of southern Australia.
And it's just started. Yesterday was just a teaser.
Another update for my local weather?
Sure, why not.
It hasn't rained much today... but the recent 2 nights of storms have worked their magic.
I usually cross the river here when I go for a walk:
WHERE IS MY BRIDGE!?!?!?!??!!!!
I think it's about a metre or so below the current surface.
This is what it usually looks like
We had about 20 of these guys give up and lay down on wednesday afternoon
The result was a state-wide blackout. And it's not a little state. I think some of it is still without electricity.
Australia is a land of extremes. We often have wild storms at this time of year, but not usually this intense.
In a few weeks we'll probably be having bush fires and dust storms.
Comments
As soon as August ended, BAM! spring.
And with it, rain. The forecast for this week is rain every day.
And damp.
Had roads wash away the other day.
Even the Great Ocean Road got closed because...
You'd probably need a boat to travel it o.O
