Quick and Easy Pond Tutorial - no cheats

I haven't seen a tutorial on creating a pond, so I thought I'd share my way of making one.

First, determine where you want to place the pond, and landscape with rocks and plants the way you want it...

Then use the pond tool to place the pond. Start with the large brush and switch to the smaller brush to hone the edges. The rocks and plants on the edge sink into the edge of the water. (Note: There most expensive rock with the base game will not sink into the pond.)

Add sand or any other terrain paint around the edge and the lily pads last.

Lovely pond! I make them all the time, but I've never thought to place the rocks beforehand. Thanks for sharing . You mignt want to make it in story form and post it to the stickied building tutorials thread at the top of the forum.
