Imagine we got a Gamepack or EP based on being a pirate.
New world being based on a ship or beach island, beach hut homes.
Swimming in the ocean, sunbaiting, building sandcastles and catching a tan.
Would you buy it?

Yes.
You could send your normal sims there. They wouldn't have to be pirates.
Hope we get news today *fingers crossed*
These are what pirates do.
1. steer a ship, setting it to half sail or full sail.
2. shooting another ships on sight, looting them treasures.
3. treasure finding
4. exploring unknown treasure island
5. capturing civilians, tying damsels to the mast
6. shark related activities
7. etc.
Might be a good EP
Only if we could succeed in finding them...
