Currently your one settings file covers all saves.

You *could* use different mc_settings.cfg files and switch them out depending on your games, but it would probably get confusing. I've never tried it, I'm one that would forever be loading the wrong file, saving settings to the wrong copy, etc.

But if you're "together" enough, it's an idea. Maybe (with two games), have two folders on your desktop, say Game A and Game B, and just have the right file in each, for copy/pasting to your /MC folder before playing? That seems easier than renaming the files, to me.

I think Deaderpool is looking into it. I couldn't find the post, but I just asked him for an update, I'll let you know what he says.

@egwarhammer Thank you so much just what I wanted to hear! I was just hoping I wasn't gonna have to set up all my setting for each save.

Cool, now I realize I answered it from the opposite end (THAT "can we have more than one", rather than your, "do we need more than one" has been asked recently at MTS), but all's well that ends well, right?

Just to cover the pro-side for multiple configs, here's this:

DP's answer was, he wrote a program to offer multiple config file choices, but when December patch funz hit, he had to table working on it, and hasn't really tested it out, yet. So it's incoming, but no firm ETA.
