Man these are all amazing ideas!! Any tips for a New player? I played the original Sims waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, and have Sims 2 and Sims 3 but truth be told........played maybe a handful of times! I don't have the imagination! I always make me..........my husband............make us meet........fall in love.........add in our best friends for neighbors........LOL!!!!! So lame!
@MrsD0707, I do the same thing in my game xD Haha! If you're new with the sims 4. Just start playing a bit and get to know the game. Complete their life time wishes and their whims. Challenges are fun to do, but it's maybe a little too hard when you're new. I don't know. Give it a try I geuss =P

158. Use motherlode/free realestate to build a house as close to your own as you can and furnish it with everything as similar as possible to your own furnishings. Then make your sim-self and make them live in the house. (Useful for self reflection.) Bonus: If you are brave, upload the lot to the Gallery with hashtag #MySimHouse and the household to the Gallery with hashtag #SimSelf.
I have been playing The Sims since 2001, when Livin Large came out. My avatar deliberately looks like Chris Roomies from TS1.

This is going to sound mean but, create a sim of someone you don't like and make them really ugly and put them in a room with nothing (remove the door) but a bed and frig and have fun.
In TS2 I had a serial killer named Ian Michael. I can't believe I did that...lol. If we wanted to get rid of a character Ian Michael would lock them in a room with a radio...well, you know. I dont do that anymore...lol.
I have a household of 8 single young adult sims, male and female, in different career tracks. Its a lot of fun and keeps me very busy. I get to build a big house, customize all the rooms for each personality type and career theme. Its fun creating a cute chic rocker chick, a goofy looking yet kinda cute guy comedian, a bookish cardigan wearing noncommittal writer, a chunky glasses wearing geek tech girl, a prim and proper snobby but nice business minded gal, and the super skinny dude that becomes a hulk after working out everyday ...and so on...astronaut, painter. I leave out any romance. It made me sad when theyd move on with their own family. Sniff sniff. I like keeping them together forever. And eeevveerr.
Oh! I did this once, kidnap a sim, making him part of the house hold and put him/her in a basement room and give him some amenities and force him to paint for you to make money.
171. Play opposites and have fun discovering what Sims will tolerate! Try playing some Sims opposite to their traits to see their reactions and range of emotion. For example, make a Squeamish Sim collect all the bugs, fish, or do all the dirty work like clean toilets and mop floors. Make an insane Sim have deep conversations with others and max out the logic skill. Make a good Sim be mean to others and do mischievous pranks on them and work in the criminal field. Keep a romantic Sim single, living like a hermit and non-romantic in all relationships.
See if you can "train" your Sims to be something they're not naturally.
172. Rebuild all of the towns you have
173. Master EVERY skill
174. try the 100 baby challenge is 2 generations. (I do believe this is possible with the fertility potion)
175. Re-create all the Buildings in the pre-existing worlds to your own liking
