Packaging lots

I know i used to package lots eg: community lot in Bluewater Village to use in another hood. However we had to package them
to the Sim2 site to share. I was also sure i could copy them to lot storage? ingame to use as well.
I get the feeling i am missing something simple here so if anyone remembers or is currently still using Sims2 Pack please let me know.

Well Sims2 Pack still elusive. However i did find a workaround.
And for copy to lot bin (well is my face red). As soon as i went back into game i noticed it.
