@soocoolsim I really like the wedding area and the colors in the room. The meeting areas with TV is a good source of entertainment, and will be a busy area I'm sure. The only other source of entertainment they have is the park.
I'm not sure what to do with the extra room. Having a TV will attract sims to the area, so it might be a good idea to have a children's area or some toys around.
I like the idea of a holiday room in the upper room.
Outside area--could be a platform or dance area. I have a radio made into a tree I can set that up for dancing, or if you go with a performance area, I have some old guitars, and a guitar that looks like a banjo as well as the violin that could be used. I leave it up to you. I like everything you have done with the build.
BTW I am using a lighting mod to brighten up the world, it was too dark. And I removed a lot of tree and replaced some trees with brighter trees. Its made a huge difference and looks so much better.

Ooo, I like the idea of a children’s room. Going for that for sure
And... I’m loving the cc you plan to use. Def going to find a way to include both band and dance areas.
Ill love to see more pics of your world whenever you’re ready to share. TTFN

Hello @ElijahsBabyGurl9 , welcome to my contact thread. A few questions :)

    Re the exterior colour...
Would you prefer I stay with the yellow with yellow trim as shown in the reference pic or would you prefer cream with brown trim?

    For the bedrooms...
Other than the Master bedroom, did you want another room with a double bed?
For the kids rooms... I was thinking perhaps a few of them could have 2 single beds as a compromise on taking out the extra bedrooms.
I also plan to create 1 nursery with 2 cradles.

You requested alternate colours for unisex genders, however indicated boys can have any theme but girls should be horses and flowers. I think you're asking that I decorate some bedrooms for boys and some for girls, and perhaps some unisex right?

In addition to the hot tub, did you want a pool as well? Playground for the kids?

@soocoolsim I'm so sorry this reply is a few days late, I've been very ill and was in the hospital for a while. I just got home. Here are the answers to your questions and THANK YOU for taking on my request <3

I was never really partial to yellow myself so I think the Cream and Brown would go very well together. If you want you can add spots of yellow like on the edges (corners) of the home or the windows.

As for the bedrooms, another double bed in one room would be ideal and I like your idea of using single beds in the rooms. And 1 nursery is perfectly fine.

Yes you are right. Some of the rooms I do want for girls and boys the others can be unisex. I was tired when I typed it out so it probably didnt make sense right away.

No no pool my Sims really dont use them much but I think a playground would be a great addition.

Great to hear from you @ElijahsBabyGurl9 . Very sorry to hear you were ill. Hope you are nicely on the mend and wishing you a speedy recovery. Appreciate your input and I’ve started on the shell and interior layout.

    Questions:
I turned the ground floor of the 2-story building on the right side of the plan into a 3-horse stable. Did you need any outdoor training activities for the horses? If yes, since this equipment takes up a fair amount space do let me know what you would like me to add.

For the dogs, I added two dog houses along with their toy crate and food bowls outdoors. There is space for them to run around in the yard with the horses. Did you also need an indoor sleeping / feeding area for the dogs or is outdoors good enough?

Final question for now  Would you like to (a) see regular WIPs as I go along? (b) just a few now and then to check I’m aligned with your vision? or (c) surprise you at the end?

Thank you I'm doing better the recovery is slow going but Im getting there.

Thats awesome, and no I dont need outdoor training equipment for the horses I can add a separate lot ingame for that.

The outdoor area should be enough for the dogs, if its possible can a endless pet bowl (the one from the LTH awards) be added inside the house somewhere?

I'm kinda leaning on having WIPs as the build goes along and a surprise at the end :3 I like to see how well its coming along.

LOL @ElijahsBabyGurl9 , I will need to figure out what to keep from you as a surprise at the end  In the meantime, an early WIP for you on page 1 for your thoughts. Will certainly add a pet bowl inside.

QUERIES / WIP SCREENSHOTS REGARDING CURRENT BUILD

Hi @ElijahsBabyGurl9 , below is an early WIP with two exterior colour options. Option B also has a little higher roof and yellow added to the smaller windows. Do you have a preference between these or another exterior colour? The trees around the pond are fruit bearing, however if you would prefer them tighter together for watering and harvesting I can move them and create an orchard at the rear. Ignore object placement since this will be tweaked later. Thoughts?

@soocoolsim Oh wow those look amazing <3 As for the colors I really like the eggshell white in the second image overall. I was thinking of making the barn the yellow that is in the first image. It would go really well with the house. As for the trees I think they look really nice around the pond. Its looking great so far ^_^

Very happy you're liking it so far @ElijahsBabyGurl9 . Not too sure what you would like me to colour yellow... the attached barn housing the stables... or... the building at the rear with the nectary. See sample screenshot of the former on page 1 along with the modified floor plan. Just let me know if you would like anything changed with the floor plan before I move onto the next stage of décor

OOPS sorry for the confusion :3 I meant the attached Stable and Nectary building. Oh and I was thinking that the small room you labeled gym could be a small laundry room :) My Sims will need one now that I thought of it. Other than that it looks amazing so far and I'm excited to see next stage :3

Ok @ElijahsBabyGurl9 , so then you prefer the two toned building in the latest screenshot. A note... the horses can only enter through the barn doors at the rear. Will that be a concern for you?

Yes the two toned is perfect. And no it wont be a concern as long as they can enter/exit the stalls and turn around without complaint it'll be just fine ^_^

Thanks for checking up @ElijahsBabyGurl9 . Yes this is a super busy time of year for me. I’ve been popping into the forums on my iPad but not getting much computer time for sims. Having said that I was able to work on your build a few evenings. Will post some screenshots of the common interior areas when I’m next in game. Hope you’re doing well :)

EDIT! Added a WIP on page 1. I've put lots of seating for your large family around the dining table. If you don't need that many chairs I can remove a couple of them... just let me know.

A WIP showing the common areas @ElijahsBabyGurl9 . I've used a lot of brown with some blues in alignment with your request. Not sure if you have the wall plants... I can remove them if you don't. I can make the brown livingroom chairs patterned if you prefer. The bedrooms will be more colourful.

Sorry for being MIA, I was laid up with the flu and my husband was in the hospital (got attacked by a stray dog that was attacking our 16yr old pittbull mix. Both are okay. He had to get 9 stitches on his hand.) I was looking over the images you showed and I absolutely LOVE the warm brown and white tones in the main room and dining room they are so inviting. The blue chairs in the sitting room are perfect. I love the kitchen but I'm not overly sure about the pattern on wall, could be the colors I just cant place it yet, could we maybe try changing the colors of the tiles to blue and green? Those are colors I love pairing together. Other than that, everything looks perfect I cant wait to see more WIPs. And I'm okay with either form of communication whatever is easiest for you.

EDIT: Oh and yes I DO have those wall plants :)

QUERIES / WIP SCREENSHOTS REGARDING CURRENT BUILD

Hi @trashbinsouvenir , below is a shell I created blending Indian and Asian influences as per your request. Is this in line with what you are thinking? Of course this is the very initial stages so will evolve as I move forward. Anything you would prefer I change in terms of the architecture or key colours?

If you are looking for an even more modern look, an option could be a Kerala type home like the one at this link. Either way, let me know.

I honestly had to take a picture of that to send to my sim-loving sister to make her jealous (and honestly because this excitement cannot be contained)- That is AMAZING. I honestly hadn't even thought of how to blend it all on the outside, and I didn't know what I wanted until I opened this thread. That is far beyond what I would have ever expected! I'm an adoring fan of Indian architecture and having lived in Japan have a tremendous love and huge respect for Japanese aesthetics, and this blends those very well! I love the use of the shoji inspired windows <3

I love the modern you posited, of course, but after seeing the first and how WOW it is I can't look away from door number one!!

I'm glad you found this to be of a least a bit of an interesting build!

I've also reached the point where I know the child shall be a girl!

Yay, so very happy I'm on the right track. How cool you got to live in Japan @trashbinsouvenir . I'm looking forward to experimenting with both styles. So I've laid out the floor plans and will get started on the décor room by room.

Did you want to see regular WIPs as I go along, just a few now and then as checkpoints, or wait until the end for the final reveal?

Edit... forgot to ask.. did you want the lot completely fenced with the celebrity gates?

Aw, yeah it was amazing in Japan. I'd go back in a heartbeat!! :) If you ever plan a trip to Japan let me know, lol!

A few check ins now and then is nice, nothing regular or anything. If there's any sort of question and/or you just feel like pumping me up that day! I know I'll love it, so seeing the WIP every so often is always terribly exciting.

I don't need the lot completely fenced in. If it somehow works with the aesthetic I'm not against it by any means, but its not something I'm in need of. :)

Sounds good @trashbinsouvenir . I've put a WIP of the master bedroom for you on page 1. This is the most vibrant room so let me know if you would prefer I tone it down or change the colours :)

Here's a WIP of the master bedroom for you @trashbinsouvenir . Option of reds or purples... which do you prefer?

    [Edit! Removed WIP]

I love them both so much! This is definitely what I was thinking!! Would it be terribly hard to mix/match to have a little bit of both the red and purple? I LOVE the red drapes, so maybe some purple splashed in? :) They're both just such wonderful colors for this theme!! You've definitely nailed the feeling I was hoping to achieve with this fusion!
