    Stories? Inspiration?

    i'm about to spend the evening with Sims 3 and wanting to play differently than usual. Does anyone have any fun ideas or stories to share to inspire my evening?

    **my usual play is typical families. mom, dad, a few kids. maybe a cat or dog... i'm looking for something other than that.

      Hmmm... I'm playing some castaway sims at the moment. They're stuck on an island and all they can do is garden and fish for food.

      You could randomize a sim (including traits) and let them tell you what they want to do. Just follow their wants. Once you lock in a want, you have to complete it. So if they want to slap someone, make them slap someone. If they want to get a random job, get them that random job. It's kind of fun following their wants instead of yours.

      You could try for a LTW you've never done before.

      Try challenges or play a pre made sim. They usually have a interesting story and you can either follow that or completely change up their lives.

      Currently I'm doing the Every Expansion Pack challenge. I've been thinking of doing the castaway challenge that Kateness mentioned.

      This is what I do and it's really fun. It forces you to discover parts of the game that you might of avoided before.

      LTW = LifeTime Wish. Like the one goal they have to work toward, normally based on their wishes. I've got a game going where I'm finally trying to get the Heartbreaker LTW.

      I love playing the town legacy challenge though it requires the game to be heavily Modded out to deal with bugs and glitches.
