Help with skin tone

Help please, I have an odd problem with two Sims' skin tone. It's the MacAnna sisters in Dragon Valley. When you start the neighborhood, they each have a white skin tone with a greenish glow to it. They're humans, not any kind of supernaturals. Using Twallan's Master Controller, I tried to change their skin, from the one they came with (the stark white-black one) to one that looks more normal.
But no matter what I do, they look greenish in the game. They look normal in their thumbnail and in CAS, but in play they look greenish compared to other Sims with the tan, brown, etc. skin tones. I feel like I must be overlooking some easy fix, but what? Thanks in advance.
