Larger Households for The Sims 4 mod

I'd like to be able to use this mod:

Now, I am addicted to CAS, so I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has been using this mod and what do you do when you want to edit a sim that is living in one of these larger households. I am terrified about losing one (or more!) of my lovely crafted sims.

But, I really like large households, so I really, really want to install it.

I would really appreciate any things I should know before I take the plunge

Gotta have Get To Work. Use cheats to turn them into an alien, alter their disguise (which opens as the holy grail- single-sim instance of CAS) to your liking, revoke their alien citizenship while they're disguised.

With them as active sim:
1. testingcheats on
2. traits.equip_trait trait_OccultAlien
3. Alter Disguise self pie menu option
4. testingcheats on
Entering/exiting CAS moves between internal "layers", toggling this off.
Ensure they've got that disguise equipped. They should, but you never know.
5. traits.remove_trait trait_OccultAlien

The way the game's designed makes this nearly impossible to fix or even simplify from the mod side.

EDIT: Mannequins work if you're just changing clothing/accessories.
