Caleb: ahhh...so many choices...I just got promoted to Head Pastry Chef so this is a subject dear to my heart. If you can consider petits fours cakes (they are. in miniature) then those. For a larger cake, even though it's not impressive the way a Napolean torte or many much more difficult cakes are, the humble Boston Creme Pie, when made with care, consisting of the best layers of sponge cake, not too sweet, filled with a sumptuous Creme Patisserie, and topped with a lovely tempered-chocolate poured ganache set to a shiny gloss, is my idea of heaven despite being almost rustic compared to other options. It's nothing I would serve at an event to impress, but it's what I would choose to savor privately.

Now that I'm a vampire I'm so glad I don't have to worry about that anymore. So many hours of my life have been wasted peeing and pooping when it could have been used for valuable mischief time.
It's weird though, because I still eat and drink so... where does it all go?
