Legacy Tales From Pandora (Borderlands to the sims 3 Legacy)

So... Hi guys
I was thinking, I love borderlands so much... so why not make a borderlands legacy?

I'm sorry if you haven't played/heard of borderlands

I'll try to involve a lot of the storyline in the parts and try and explain it more.

I really suggest you complete borderlands 2 before reading

By the way guys, none of this happens in borderlands before you start playing thinking "Oh this is going to happen because br560's story about borderlands says it's going to happen." (I doubt you would but I just needed to make it clear)

I chose my favourite character (Angel... duh)
and decided to give her a back story from after she died:

Generation 1: After Angel sacrificed her life to help the vault hunters kill Jack, she found her self in a different place... not the futuristic Pandora she was used to, the plain modern times. Mostly everyone was friendly... But she wasn't sure her life here was going to be so smooth.
Can Angel live a normal life as a sim in sunset valley - or fail and die miserably?


I may break the rules a bit.

Since I never follow the rules I don't like in challenges.

That either makes me stubborn or rebellious

I don't know.

Angel is exploring the thing she likes best... technology.


"I wish half of the people from Pandora were here to see this!"

I kind of like how she just went straight for the computer like "Bookcase there... Bed there... Fridge there... Let's go for the computer!"

I think she's met someone already.


"You're the only friend I need!"

So she applauds the computer...

That's why I love you, Angel.



She also applauds the guest room bed...

Angel... you kind of have a double bed in your room.

Guys... this doesn't change anything. No matter how dumb she is in the modern world, she's amazing in Pandora.

(whispers) We should have gone with Lilith

"Pandora's box? Is that about Pandora?"

I'm actually hoping to make a town full of borderland characters.
To make it all more interesting.

If you want, you can submit your characters.

Let's not get sidetracked though.

We still need to supervise Angel.


"This hasn't got anything to do with Pandora! They lied!"

I'm glad to see she's settling in.
It would probably be really hard to go from planet to planet.
Although... I wouldn't mind going into the sim world...

Only joking.

I'd hate it in a way... I could see it now... Pools... walls... no ladders... cowplants! (Shudder)

Luckily we're going to keep an eye on Angel.

I think.

I'm beginning to think Angel needs a job...




She'd probably suit a scientist.

She might even be able to build tools they use in Pandora and become famous!

Woah... We'd better not get too many high hopes.

2. Moxxi And Lilith

Well guys... we've added two new people to our town.

Meet Angel's new neighbour, Lilith!


"Imagine if Brick and Moxxi were dating."

They're already made themselves firm friends.



Lilith isn't wearing her everyday wear so she just looks like... that.

I got Lilith and Moxxi (who you'll meet in a moment) off the exchange. I will try and locate the links for you.

I actually got Angel from the resource and tweaked her a bit.

I usually like to just get into game play.


"I've been expecting you, Angel."

And here is Moxxi, whose looking like she's planning to lure Angel into her house and kill her.

Charming, isn't she?


"I'm so tired!"

I think Angel and Moxxi are having a "Try and be funniest" contest.



"Watch my little dance!"

I think Angel's turn just looked messed up.

I think it's time for her to head home and get some sleep for work.


"Representing all the women. Salute! Salute!"

Moxxi isn't that honourable.
She's woohooed with a LOT of people.


"What kind of spoon is this?"

After introducing herself to some canned soup and a mini spade, I think Angel's actually beginning to enjoy sim food.


"Here's how you pee. You let it out before even sitting down on the toilet seat!"

Chapter 3: Love is on fire right now!

Welcome back to Angel's twisted life here in Sunset Valley where apparently everything and everyone is happy.



It took Angel ages to have a bath so, when she was about to be late for work, she decides to stroll along as slowly as she can to the taxi carpool thingy. (Yep... You can tell I haven't seen the notification for that in a while.)


"Time for the bills... Prepare to be disappointed!"

And there's the mailman. He was polite and actually put the bills in the mailbox instead of angrily throwing it on the floor and storming off.

I still hate the mail people.

In the time Angel was at work... I realised something really important...


"I will kill your wife and children!"

The llama inside of the University freebie bucket looks really creepy.

Look at that creepy smile... It's sure to murder Angel in the middle of the night...


"Quick... before the creepy woman gets back!"

I've also realised how much I hate the paper kids.
At least they don't knock on the doors to give your sim their paper.



After work, I sent Angel to a house where a single (but not the most attractive) sim lives.

You guessed it, it's Leighton Sekemoto.

Even if he has a girlfriend, Angel's sure to make sure he's her's.

If they get on.


"I'm off!"


Where'd you think you're going, mister?

So... you guys don't think Angel will get a partner?

There's always Moxxi and Lilith...

I think Angel and Moxxi are perfect together, personally.

They can always adopt a child.

But what would it be called?

Claptrap?

Perfect boy's name.

Maya?

Perfect girl's name.

We've got it all sorted out now.

I think it's all going to be Moxxi and Angel... the couple of the year.

I mean it, guys.

They would actually make a cute couple.



"🐸🐸🐸🐸 you, Moxxi!"


So Angel goes to Varg's Tavern and invites Moxxi over. Well well well... Looks like Moxxi isn't the one for Angel..

Maybe Lilith will come.

After all, Angel and Lilith really got to know each other and became pretty good friends.


"Woo! Lilith!"


This just shows that Lilith must have said something really nice before saying "Sure, I'll come over."

Maybe it's now "Lilith and Angel - Couple of the year award." Now. Moxxi'll find someone... I'm sure of it.



I don't know what I was thinking when I tried to change the formal wear from what it was.

(Shiver) those boots and those leggings... oh no.


"So Roland sort of got killed but..."

Looks like Angel seems REALLY interested.



Interested enough to do this...

After that awkward kiss, Lilith pulled her back to kiss a bit more.





I think it was pretty cute.



Angel even managed to take her to her bed!




"Happy days!"

And they ended up with a happy memory.

After that, Angel got hungry and decided to make some waffles.



She did well with putting the ingredients together...



But she ran off to pee when she put the waffles in the oven...

Well, boys and girls, I think we all know what's going to happen next unless Lilith has the sense to help Angel out.



(Facepalm)

"Maybe if we point the extinguisher the other way, it'll put out the fire!"

(Triple facepalm)





It was put out in the end, though.

Well done, Lilith.

Sorry I didn't actually meet anyone new or add any more characters but I'm thinking of meeting people on the next part and adding more characters in the next generation, so the next Borderlands child doesn't get lonely.

A little question though:

What gender should Angel and Lilith's baby be and what should it's name be?

Since I MIGHT make them adopt a child soon.

4. Cooking With Angel



"Must...Troll...Forums!"

So, Lilith's decided to make herself at home. Look how happy she looks.
And before you judge by the caption, no she hasn't got an evil trait.

Since when has Lilith been evil?

On a less related note... Have you even wanted to see Angel sleep?



Here's a beautiful picture of her snoring away.
But look at that sassy pose.

Not really... it's just how she sleeps.


"Where's the fire?!"

It took them forever...

The fire was about five sim hours ago!


"Go back everyone! We've come to the wrong save!"

Oh guys... I just realised... Look what's in front of the door.

It's that llama again...

We need to get rid of it before aliens begin to take Angel back.

So... this is the part where we stalk Lilith as she goes out and open her home in master controller JUST to watch her while she sleeps!







(mumbles) I think that Angel would want the side that Lilith's sleeping on.

You guys don't know how frustrating it is playing with any walls up.

But I do it just for you!


"Arghh nope!"



I'm actually going to keep the llama there because it's amusing.

At least we can blame everything on him!

A little Story Progression tells me Moxxi has found a girlfriend.

Looks like the dreams of Angel and Moxxi are down the toilet.

It's time to bin their prom photo.

So, after a long night's sleep, Angel gets frustrated over bread and jam.


"Shut up and drive!"

Using Nraas-Mod-We-Mustn't-Mention I kind of... made it so Lilith and Angel can try for a baby

So I think Angel's pregnant.

WOO!

We're going to have to name the baby.

Or Pandora.

Or... Hyperia? For Hyperion but made into a girl's name?

I don't know. For a boy I might call him Jakobs (named after a brand of gun on borderlands)

Either Hyperion for a girl or Jacobs for a boy.

That'd be pretty cute.

When Angel came out of work, this guy be looking like a super spy.



So... where's Angel going on this fine day?

To the summer festival!



To meet new people and...

So... Angel did come here to meet friends so she decided to approach a woman called Grace.

I have a feeling this is going to be like the Moxxi and Angel thing... looking like it's going to work but it doesn't.

I would get the "at least you tried" cake for Angel but... I'm not feeling it.

Angel's salads often come out a bit stranger than expected...

I swear... normal sims it would take about six hours (in real life) to run away but burglar sims... They're skilled!

What an amazing start to episode 5... YAYY EPISODE 5 ALREADY! (I mean finally)

Good morning!

And, of course, we're having our first party! Costume party! At 10:00 am (I am lame!)

But Angel's house isn't made for a party!

What should we do?

How awesome is that?

It's like a club!

The computer is in the spare room because we wouldn't be able to live without a computer.

I am changing it back though after the party.

I'll keep it all in the family inventory.



What an interesting bunch.

Well... Angel was the only one who didn't dress up.


The "Interesting bunch" were actually boring. They didn't dance or anything so Angel had to liven things up.

Then people began to stop being boring.




But this happened. How cute!



Then this... Grr... Dang it Moxxi!

Apparently Moxxi broke up with her partner... So she's going after Lilith!

How dare she!

Moxxi: "I have my eye on you."



Angel is not a big fan of Loxxi or Milith


So she goes to claim Lilith as a girlfriend. Woo! Guess who said yes? Of course it's not Moxxi who is just being plainly rude.



Angel tries to ask Lilith to go on a date to please her.

Unfortunately... Lilith had to go work. Or did she...?

Then they all left her... And Angel is now forever alone...

Pandora Home Ship:

So... I've decided to update Angel's normal and boring house since Angel isn't normal and boring.

Yes, I know in the description I said "Normal modern world" but I couldn't resist building Angel her very own... Pandora Home Ship! Now instead of saying "Let's go home." We can say "Let's go to the ship"!

You're probably wondering "I wonder how bad it's going to look." You don't have to wonder any more. This is how terrible it looks:

At least it looks futuristic.

(We even gave the evil llama a brand new red bucket!)



I decided to recolour the furniture to make it look much more... metal and ship material.



Oh, and do you like the baby's room? I, personally, think it's kind of adorable.

Well... this is the first time I've put effort into making a house. I had to recolour absolutely everything. I hope you're happy because my fingers are going to bleed from how long I spent on it (Not really)



But honestly... how boring did the old living room look? Seriously...

6. A tedious day at home

I find it cute. We've gotten so far... if anything happens to the baby...

So... It's a Saturday so how is Angel spending her night?

I laughed more than I should have on this one.

So... Angel's Thursday mission? Get Lilith -



To become her room mate. Did she succeed?

While Lilith has been living with Angel, I've discovered that she's pretty stupid...

And Angel finally went into labour in the night.

I don't think Lilith wants a child just yet.



She's even doing a little dance to show it.



Angel went to the hospital, followed by Lilith.



And came out with a beautiful...

"I am the evil llama in a new body... Hehe!"

Well... a bundle of messed up textures named Claptrapette Borderlands. We'll call her Clap for short. We love you Clappy

I'm definitely going to find some mechanical stuff for her to wear when she's older. Plus, I'll try and fix the texture. If not, we're going to have to put up with it. (Sighhhh)

(a few hours later of removing default skin packs out of the mod folder and slamming my head on the desk.)

I'm going to have to take a couple of days to figure this out... Oh well

8. Good Mother

Well, I'm back with news! The baby is fixed thanks to @igazor , and Clappy is now beautiful (well, now she looks like a normal baby)


"I am no longer posessed by the evil llama! Woo!"

And, giving birth to her made both parents tired.





I looked back on the first episode and - wow! The layout was really different. I'm going to stick to this way though...

You know what Angel loves about the new baby?

She can rock on the chair any time she likes and say she's "calming down the baby."



"I actually am calming down the baby, thank you very much."

She's a great mother (so far) though. She actually feeds her baby (unlike most of my sims).



Well... she did kind of give up her job for her child.



And she automatically went to read a book... I expected her to get back in bed.




Uh... Angel... you're winking wrong.


"It's meant to be a hairy wink."



But Lilith is digging it...



And, for today, she's going to go and leave poor Angel alone with the two babies... Cowplant and Clappy.

Speaking of Cowplant...


"I am not a baby! Looks like it's time to cause another disaster..."

It's doing fine!



Guess what's happening? Clappy's going to have a birthday party because - let's face it - babies are BORING!

But that'll have to be next time because... sims crashed and, even though I have saved, I'm tired.
