Yes, and I thought it was fine, but didn't get the hype til I had some that was very aged! It was amazing, almost old enough to vote XD, at a special event at a very nice pub, and worth what it cost. All those things they say about fine scotch that seem like hyperbole, are true, and impossible to imagine til you've let it roll slowly over your tongue and let it kiss every part of your palate before gliding down your throat. Young single-malt (or blended) fine scotch is nice, but nothing even remotely close to the really old, really good stuff, and I wouldn't have believed it til I had some.

@cyncie@Kendrana Actually I have!! I was really scared of my first school dance when I was a kid, so my parent's way of curing me of this fear was to put on Chubby Checker and teach me the twist. It was hilarious fun and worked too. I did not dare do that at the dance though.
No. Now I did have one time where I slipped and fell on the ice, and for a couple of seconds while I was fighting to stay on my feet I did something vaguely like the Twist, only less coordinated.

I've been trapped in an elevator briefly when the door jammed and I had to hit the emergency button, but eventually the door opened on it's own after a few minutes. Had my heart in my throat the whole time though, but apparently they rarely actually fall. Listened to lots of other people yelling in panic on my floor during that week before the door was fixed until the landlord put a sign up in the elevator not to scream in panic the door is just jamming and will eventually open slowly lol. It was a lowrise building though, so it was fun to see all my neighbours suddenly taking to the stairs scared to go on the elevator like me haha
