stairs and freizes

I just spent a few days building these cute townhouses, and now my Sims can't use the stairs to get in them. I used a set of stairs going up to the foundation, and a second set from the foundation to a freize and the front door. How can I fix this without scrapping the whole build?

Friezes and stairs are difficult. A frieze is a foundation placed on top of a wall. So you need cheats to do it. There are tutorials in Sims 3 Creative Corner on how to do them.
