Issues with my sims? (Monster sims!)

Hi, I've been having this issue with my game ever since I updated my mac to Yosemite.
I don't have any pictures right now to show you, I'll try my best to explain.
Whenever I pan over to a community lot, or a neighbour's lot the sims all appear to be stretched out and jiggered all over for a while then turn into normal sims again, this happens even when I zoom out far enough on my own sims and whilst they render.
I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it? It is really, incredibly annoying, especially for picture taking.
Other than that, the game works fine.
