Before I fully explain my problem, I need to preface with I get all my mods from www.modthesims.info as they are all tested by loyal fans and avid players with lots of feedback.

Now to my question. I've only tried the detective career so far and it's been great. A little tricky time management wise but otherwise really great. I can play for as long as I want but once I quit and go back in, I get a warning saying that things have been removed from the house, files are missing in game and if I continue to play, it could cause big problems in my game.

Today, I tested that warning out because I wasn't sure what problems could arise and I was curious.

So far, if I go back in, my sim will be unemployed and the detective, doctor, and mad scientist careers aren't listed when I look for a job.

I've heard of work around a where you can delete certain files and they will regenerate when you open it again. That works, but I don't want to have to do it all the time. I've tried repairing and updating but no repairs need to be made and my game is all up to date.

Lastly, I've checked my mods and all I have are reorganizing mods (like for build and buy mode), a skill mod to increase skills at lightning speed, a safer chance card mod, and a CAS recolor mod. All these mods are as updated as they can be so I'm not sure what else the problem could be. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and if any help is forthcoming.

I've removed mods one by one and put them back in one by one but none of them are the cause of the problem as far as I can tell.
