Is it supposed to be an event that gets you something after the event? First thing I did when I loaded the game was the debug cheat to get all 10 eggs. It just told me something would be on the way. (Was just curious what all the new stuff looked like)

muwhaha! I'm soo doing that I wanna see what I get lol
I think they have a chance of finding one when you're getting other collectibles, hence why I found them when harvesting my garden. So, you can probably also find them in fishing holes, frog things, and by digging rocks. Just a theory, but that's what I think. :)
I wonder if the eggs are added to the catalog if we find them or if they are only for the original sim families that find them this April. Hmm...
I was wondering this. Because if the event is over after April, does that mean the eggs will disappear and we'll never see them again. Or does it mean we can still find the eggs, but just won't get a reward for finding them again.

I'm wondering also because they sound like a nice item to sell in a shop. If they're in inventory only maybe we'll be able to clone them.
I've found a bunch (including duplicates) by fishing, looking for frogs, gardening, making salad, in the mail and digging. So I think all these things grant the potential to find an egg - I kind of wish they were out in the park to find by players but this is a fun idea.
