Bread pudding, specifically made with croissants. I guess that type of bread soaks up moisture better, while remaining crisp and flaky on top when it comes out of the oven. Fresh whipped cream on the top .

Like rice and mashed potatoes, pasta (specifically macaroni and cheese) and rice, dinner rolls and cornbread, and the most hated of them all (for me) mashed potatoes and potato salad. Makes no since to me whatsoever. Don't ever put those items on the same plate; it's gotta be one or the other.
