Acne; less uncomfortable, can be treatable and can't potentially kill me if it is severe.

A woman has lost her husband and her son in this disaster. The TITANIC community has lost a historian, who went to TITANIC over 30 times and knew the wreck inside and out.

I'd rather climb the highest mountain! Maybe I'll find the Wise Monk of the Mountains (after fighting the Yeti and crossing the plank and rope bridge) !
I need my hands for work and hobbies so will sacrifice a thumb.
If it could be the left thumb rather than the right (I'm right handed) so I can write and draw easier, that would be great.

Be stranded on a science base on the moon
or
Be stranded in an underwater science base at the bottom of the ocean?
(Both sites have a year's supply of food and water, plus communication devices).
Ooof neither of those sound fun, but I would have to say I would rather get bitten by a large horsefly because allergies to bees and hornets run in my family.

First, I'm scared of heights. Second, I could just see me flying and suddenly get smacked by a 737! Now just a stain on the nose of a plane!
