I recall having such fun in previous installments of the franchise when my sims could do different types of dancing, of course smustle was annoying because it acted like a plague amongst sims (once one started everyone else would join), and something sims started doing without a source of music at all. However, there didn't seem to be a huge selection (at least after all the expansion packs: excluding TS3, which I never got past Generations with).

I have a good list of dances which would please me very much, the one in bold most of all:
-Hula
-Robot
-Tap
-Jazz
-Break
-Ballet
-Smustle (just don't make it a plague)
-Caramelldansen

If anything, add Caramelldansen in the first EP

If I ever saw sims Twerking I would die, and it has to be in the grace of Beyoncé none of that nasty Miley Cyrus. Nicki Minaj? perhaps.

Waltzing maybe it could be that one dance that takes skill... and twerking.
Parents can teach children. or people can learn together.
I would like some sims to learn how to choreograph a dance number to songs one day. Like performing on stage as back up dancers to a singer.

i would love see my sims "shufling" or doing the smooth criminal steps or the famous moonwalker.

Going way way back to Sims 1 they used to be able to line dance...I think.
also watching Sims letting loose in the dancing cage was always funny

How about a dance floor object that would trigger the different type of dances? You'd click on the floor and you would select a dance, then select a partner. Or for group dances like the Smustle, you'd get an "Invite to Smustle" then get a list of Sims in the venue you could invite to join you on the dance floor.
