    High settings.

Maybe on Ultra, but I'd go with high honestly.

I suggest buying desktop PC for playing games. Less cash & more power.

    Hello,

I think whilst this laptop should be able to play the game, I disagree about the High and Ultra settings suggestions - its more likely to be medium settings, or low-medium settings if using a high resolution screen.

I hope this helps and keep simming,

    Ask me about custom-built PCs!

Need to upgrade? - $400 for high settings in Sims 4 --> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LtphdC

You will not find a laptop at that price; I recommend that you save up. You need a gaming computer for the Sims.

Gaming laptops range around $1,000 ($900 depending on sales).

Gaming desktops range around $600 (off-the-shelf), $700 (building your own), and $800 (custom retailer).

This is as low I would go... (a model is currently on sale for $699; but Lenovo's Y700 14-inch is temporarily out of stock)
    http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y700-series/y700-14-inch/

For a budget gaming laptop, it is quite a good laptop with good specs. It has a GPU better than the GT 940M (Radeon R9 M375) and the CPU is quad-core (Intel i7-6700HQ).

While it does have good specs for a budget laptop for the $699 model, it has a smaller hard drive (500GB), but it makes up for it that allows you to replace the HDD for a bigger one or to swap it out for a SSD. You can also add in a M.2 SSD.

    Notifying...

Laptops are weaker than desktop. The games requirements are for desktop not laptop and laptops are more expensive to run this game . You do need a gaming computer and nothing I could recommend in your price range to run this game. $649 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-ultra-desktop-amd-fx-series-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-black-blue/4294502.p?id=bb4294502&skuId=4294502
