Both women died while cooking breakfast for their families! I play my game without fire alarms... I like to make my game a bit riskier ;) In Leanna's case, her husband wasn't able to get to her fast enough to extinguish the flames. Leanna left behind a husband and 6 children who ranged in age from toddler-teenager. In Melanie's case, her husband decided that brushing his teeth was more important than calling the fire department. Melanie left behind her parents, her husband, and her teenaged son. Melanie's case was really sad to me because her parents had suffered a miscarriage when Melanie was a teen, and then their only daughter passed away before them.

Bonus: Toddler (Joey) was then taken by the social worker, since mum (Emma) died from the fire that arose.

I was very young and wasn't the best at playing the game back then. The parents died in a fire, but Cassandra didn't. The weird thing was she was left by herself for a while before the social worker came. It was actually really sad
