Hello Simmers out there. I created a time line that lists the entire Sim Series from The Sims to Sims 3(note, it is incomplete).

All games and Expansion Packs are listed in order with the oldest at the top. You will also notice that I included Sim video commercials and trailers just for you. Feedback is much appreciated, but if you happen to post, please answer this simple survey...

Other Facts – SimsVille was supposed to be a cross version of SimCity and The Sims. (If you check the last video, it does look very similar to The Sims 3, and SimCity Societies.

Awesome! It is soo crazy to see how the game has improved and progressed!I think the sims 1 was just amazing (because it was such an original idea), sims 2 was even more amazing (because of the graphics and new oportunnities) and I personally think the sims 3 is definetly the best by far! I cant wait for expansion packs and more CCs! Thanks for sharing those awesome videos!

I remember a commercial for the tele that had the clown, grim reaper and someone else sitting on a couch and they were arguing about something and I think they kept blaming it on the clown or maybe the other guy. But I remember laughing my tuchas off at their interaction. That was the commercial that made me want to start playing The Sims. It was definitely an expansion pack if I remember correctly.

Edit: I believe it was the Genie that was the third person on the couch, or maybe it was him instead of the Grim Reaper. Either way I think it was for Living Large or maybe Bustin' Out.

While tiring to create this timeline, I came across a Sim game that I had almost forgotten. Now looking back at it, it surprising looks like the Sims 3. It's SimVille. It was canceled though, so you can't buy it.

I can remember the very first sims commercials. I'm sure there was a commercial involving a son brining a llama home to his father, I think it was for the sims house party. I didn't see any sims 2 ads on TV, but saw the sims 3 "let there be sims" ads and couldn't help but get excited.

Next year we celebrate 10 years with the sims, amazing!

At 0:40 in the livin large trailer a sim is getting abducted.

The telescope was one of the best was to improve logic. I always had my Sim children use it and noting ever happened. I have all the expansion packs. Never knew. I flashed through all of the videos to see if they were appropriate.

The Sims 2 commercial has to be the best one in my eyes. I was watching it a few weeks before Sims 3 officially came out. It was great! Watching the guy morph out of the Sims 1 way of looking into the Sims 2 and his deperate attempt to get with a girl and finally does with a girl who can't keep her top on. I love the way it showed their stages together, their kids (especially the one who loves to light fire), the kids graduating and then them having a family of their own. That trailler portrayed the game in a great way. One of my all time favorites.

How much has the Sims has improved over the years? Aging, definittely. The aging in the sims 1 is really bad. Children can't be adults, until Makin' Magic, and it is by using a spell!
Which was your favorite Sims Game of all time? Sims 2: Freeetime, I love hobbies!

I used WMV code. Since I don't have a youtube account, I went into Google videos and looked them up there. I right clicked the video "Copy HTML code" and pasted it here. In order to get it to show up, I used the wmv code.

The method that I am using doesen't work with the youtube code. I'll just have to post links for you. Shouldn't be long.

Wow, TS1 videos sure bring back so many memories. I loved, loved, loved TS1. I had all of the expansion packs pre-ordered. Then came the announcement for Simville and I eagerly anticipated it. But, boy was I disappointed when they canceled it. Anyway, I eventually got TS2 and a couple of the expansion packs. However, I hardly played it after a little while. I can't remember if I got bored with TS2 or if work and school took over. Probably a combination of both. At any rate, TS3 has brought back my Sims addiction, even stronger or just as strong as it was for TS1.
