Could a life stage "on/off" button be possible?

I was pondering this idea a little bit ago and decided to share it with you all. I'm not a computer programmer/specialist in the slightest, so I don't know if this would even be possible to add into the game by this point, but what if there was a way to have a life stage "on/off" button? You'd simply go into settings disable/enable a certain life stage or stages and that'd be it.

For example, for those crazy fun Simmers, you could disable all stages except for baby and elder. This way, your shiny new baby would age directly into a wrinkly old elder.

Or, let's say you'd like to use a certain household's genetics to create a boyfriend/girlfriend for a teenager you're playing, yet the households have already been created and placed into the neighborhood. You could have the household you desire have a baby, turn off the child stage, and have the born baby automatically age into a teenager to be the boyfriend/girlfriend for the Sim in need.

And finally, as I'm sure you've already guessed, this would also more easily allow the inclusion of toddlers into the game for those of us who really do want them back. I realize some of you do not like them, and with the life stage on/off button, you could disable them so they'd never appear in your game. This way, it'd be a win-win situation for us all.

However, like I said, I know nothing about programming computers, so could something like this even be possible?

Seems like it would be, but it could run into issues - turning off adults gets rid of all adult sims in town? Or is it just for your household?
    What'd you just say??

Hmmm, I think in my head I was only thinking for the current household you were playing, but I guess technically this would be where my idea gets a little more tricky. Good point though.
