Hey Y'all, I'm Kay!
Welcome to a competition based on creative and re imagining the illustration of a book cover. This competition is going to be a revamp of book cover designs and making them your own. It will be anything from fantasy to a modern feel for the assignments. Your models will be at the center of each new design you decide to create. Don't forget to be creative! Creativity is the key to success!
*First and foremost, be nice to others! No negativity is allowed, this includes making snarky remarks to other players.
*Sims 3 Models Only Please!
*Absolutely no face-plastering or photo skinning.
*Editing & Pose Player is recommended!
*You are allowed to draw your own clothes or objects.
*Only 2 extensions per cycle!
*Extensions will only be for 3 days. Please ask 24hrs in advance!
*If you are late requesting an extension you will be deducted 2 points.
*Only your first photo will be accepted that you enter, no re-dos are allowed.
*Assignments will last for 10 days!

Finale: Divergent
WHAT! It's already the finale! Congratulations to the final 3! Y'all have stuck it out and fought your way to be here and I am proud of all three of you! Onto the last assignment! Divergent! This book series by Veronica Roth has been a hit all across the world and is now filming the rest of the book series. You'll be re-imagining the cover of the book to your own personal taste! Don't play it safe for the finale, I want to see everything that y'all have! Excited to see your entries!

This looks really good, but it also looks a lot like existing posters for the book/movie. I do like the male's tattoos and how it shows all the places you could go. I think the strongest part of this image is the tattoos on both your models; they're very symbolic. I think the logo and font choices are perfect, and I wouldn't have changed any of that.

When I saw your assignment I immediately fell in love with it. Shadow looks incredible and I love the sci fi feel to it. One of my favorite pictures from you this cycle. Well Done!

I really like the simplicity of this. It reminds me of minimalistic movie posters. Shadow is edited well into the background and the colors match up nicely. I don't get the sci-fi suit though. I think it'd be better without the blue piping, would look more like it belongs in the book. My only complaint other than that is that there's nothing really to show how she feels about her decision; she looks kind of stoic. The fonts and placement of the words and logo are nice. I wouldn't have done anything different on those.

THE direction you took this assignment was incredibly genius! I love the different options that Darla could have taken in Divergent. I thought your overall idea was very smart. There were parts of the image that were choppy but other than that you did really well! Good Job Girl!

So I really, really liked your idea here. You got so creative with it! It captures the turmoil amongst her three selves. I like how you set up the title but there are a lot of bad quality issues. Your model(s) are all outlined in the white background that you haven't fully taken out. When you use the magic wand for that, drag it just a little when you click and it'll select closer to the edges (Pro tip!) There's a lot of blurring on the title and a lot of pixellation on the author's name like you tried scaling up a small picture; it's also not cut all the way out. Really this round it was just quality that got you. You did excellent on theme, creativity, and requirements.
