Does anyone know how long they live, mine died real quick and is bones now.

If you feed it when it sticks the cake out, they can live for a while

So it dies real quick if you don't feed it every minute. we need a gardener in the game. All my sims work in the house and its hard to keep it up.

Cowplants require feeding, not regular watering/weeding. If they aren't fed a diet regularly they die. It has to be fed like every 12-16 hours. pretty much if the cake is out, it needs to be fed.

Seriously!!! No gardeners!?

And I usually have roughly 6 hours after I see the cake before mine dies.

Will they still kill random neighbors like in TS2?

They are absolutely adorable in this one. You can pet, play with, feed and yes they can still kill neighbors, though they tend to regurgitate them a lot too.

You have to feed them anytime they show a cake tongue or they die. Take good care of them if you want a herd:
